Di passaggio nella splendida Ferrara, viste le recensioni, ci siamo approcciati alla cucina dello chef con aspettative molto alte che, non solo sono state rispettate ma sono andate ben oltre. Fin dall'ingresso nel piccolo ristorante, si respira un'aria di eleganza senza forzature e di calda intimità, grazie alle volte e alle travi a vista, e gli inserti di arte moderna e l'illuminazione di design. Dal punto di vista enogastronomico abbiamo vissuto una vera e propria esperienza lasciandoci guidare dalle sette portate del menu degustazione mare "crudo e cotto". Nulla di scontato dove la materia prima, sempre protagonista, è stata esaltata dagli abbinamenti anche sperimentali ma mai barocchi, dello chef. Impiattamenti superlativi. Ottimi anche i panificati e interessantissima la carta dei vini che propone anche etichette di piccoli produttori locali, la cui descrizione è lasciata all'ottimo sommelier. Molto bene anche lo staff di sala preparato e cordiale. Infine, piacevole anche la chiacchierata di fine cena con lo chef Bacilieri che, con la "scusa" di predisporre personalmente il conto, coglie l'occasione di condividere le impressioni con i suoi clienti.

Modern, very intimate venue with soft lighting, ideal for a relaxing evening. The dishes are excellent, all served with care and presented. During dinner you will be accompanied by a welcome entrée followed by tastings offered by them. If you have never been there, I highly recommend it, it is not just a dinner or lunch but a real taste experience. The greetings of the Chefs are that extra attention that distinguishes this place, making it unique. Prices are related to the service.

La laurea di una figlia impone una cena da non dimenticare, ciò che si è verificato in questo ristorante. Personale educato e preparato, scelta impeccabile dei vini con un sommelier pronto a soddisfare i nostri palati, portate superlative spiegate con dovizia di particolari e lo stesso chef Bacilieri che, a fine cena, è venuto al nostro tavolo per accertarsi che fosse tutto a posto. The best restaurant in Ferrara. Point. In the city center, a stone's throw from the cathedral, a very elegant venue in which the rooms and soft lights transport you to a world apart. The very present service is competent but never intrusive. But food is the real protagonist. Varied menu with refined meat and fish dishes and impeccably executed by the chef. The combination of raw tuna and cooked wagyu... A surprise for the palate. The wine list is also extensive with labels that are never predictable and a maitre sommelier who follows you course after course. A restaurant truly worth trying!

Excellent quality of the raw material. Study and preparation of dishes with refined and balanced combinations. High level presentation. Given the great potential, in such a comfortable environment, I didn't like the position of the table next to the entrance and very close to the cash register, little privacy. Another detail, given the excellent wine list, it was "surprising" to choose one with the sommelier and then discover that it was not available (frequent checks to have an updated list). Problem solved brilliantly by the sommelier, who demonstrated great competence in communication and holistic management of wine. Temperature management is particularly appreciated. Having said that, in my opinion it is one of the best restaurants in Ferrara.
