Great experience, excellent service, and very hospitable. I'd return for the Chiavenna gnocchetti and the ribs. The desserts are very impressive, but nothing special. Congratulations!

It's raining outside, so it's lunch with the family at Crotto! First time at Quartino, and all in all, I have to say it was a good experience. The Chiavennasca brisaola and the bastardell salami were excellent. I wasn't crazy about the sciatt, which were a bit bland... the white pizzoccheri were good, better with a generous sprinkling of pepper, which gives them an extra kick! The sausage and potatoes were very good, and in their simplicity, they have a truly superb flavor! The fioretto cake was good, and the Prosto biscuits were out of this world! Moka coffee, which needs revisiting... The welcome was pleasant, the service a bit cold from some of the waitresses, but that's to be expected, given the busy Sunday, and it's understandable. In my opinion, they're missing a first course for the children, a simple pasta dish with a simple sauce or with a little tomato sauce or pesto. The price is slightly higher than average at other Crotti, but overall, it's worth it tonight. The cellar is nice, with cured meats and aged cheeses.

Excellent local cuisine, fair prices for what you eat, nice atmosphere and the owner doesn't think twice about asking if you want seconds of any dish.

Very, very characteristic. An original and charming crotto. The food is good and the service is excellent. You feel pampered and cared for.
Compliments to Matteo, who explained the history of the crotto to us and patiently answered our questions. I recommend the pizzoccheri bianchi and polenta taragna. The lunch is worth the trip (excellent Brenta red wine). You can purchase typical products preserved in the crotto, from honey to brisaola.

Characteristic place, they give you a glass of wine upon arrival, then they make you sit down, nice, kind, characteristic clothes, they gave us a platter with local bresaola and salami, cheeses, then pizzoccheri, polenta and a huge platter of meat, homemade focaccia, very good and bitter, price €40 per person but you can order as many as you want

I've had lunch here several times, and it's always a sure thing! I've tried various crotti in the area, but for me, this is the best Crotto in Valchiavenna for traditional specialties!
You can't go wrong with the tasting menu; you get what you pay for, and you'll fill up on bresaola, cheeses, pizzoccheri, ribs, and polenta.
The torta fioretto and the typical Prosto biscuits are also excellent.
I recommend booking in advance, as Crotto Quartino is always fully booked.

A lovely, characteristic crotto in Chiavenna.
Excellent local dishes. The desserts are also very good.
It's located on the outskirts of town, however.
Friendly and helpful staff.
