More than a restaurant, I would define it as a high-level culinary experience: my husband, our son, and I preferred to order dishes without choosing the menu: cutting boards, polenta, pizzoccheri, and ribs, all top-notch! The ribs melted in your mouth and were flavored just right, every dish was tasty and refined at the same time, the wine was top-notch, and the staff was quick and friendly in serving us. Finally, we went to the crotto and they gave us a delicious salami. We had been here 8 years ago and I was 9 months pregnant with our son, going back was wonderful, they are always better and more attentive to customers! Absolutely to do again!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

From the reservation process to the visit to the vented cellar of Sorèl after the meal and the small gift when leaving, you can fully feel that this is a very well managed restaurant.
We ordered traditional gnocchi and polenta mixed with a lot of cheese, both of which were delicious! The service staff were very friendly and smiling. After the meal, you can visit the special sorèl of crotto and get sausage as a gift, which makes the dining experience a perfect end.
The meal lost one star because of the dessert. You can see that the tray carved into the shape of a wild boar, the fireworks and the utensils are very attentive, but the chocolate is very sweet and of poor quality, the milk jelly is very light and sweet, and the biscuits are very sweet and oxidized. If the dessert part can be improved, it will be perfect

On a hot summer day, we left Como in search of some refreshment and finally decided to try Crotto Quartino, which we had been eyeing for a while, also thanks to some really catchy marketing. We booked (a good choice: the tables filled up quickly) and were welcomed with a glass of fresh and aromatic red wine. Lunch began with an excellent bresaola and salami platter, followed by pizzoccheri bianchi di Chiavenna and a portion of well-made polenta. The dessert - a milk cream with homemade biscuits - was a real explosion of taste. Friendly and attentive service. At the end of the meal, a pleasant surprise: they gave us two salamis and accompanied us to the cellars, where they explained to us the magic of Sorel, the natural wind that keeps the cellar cool all year round. An authentic and memorable experience.

We were at the crotto for the first time last night, the service was impeccable: young, fresh and friendly. The food was perfect and plentiful. Wonderful location in the mountains.
