A lovely, characteristic crotto in Chiavenna. Excellent local dishes. The desserts are also very good. It's located on the outskirts of town, however. Friendly and helpful staff.

We went for lunch on Saturday for the Crotti festival. The restaurant is very modern and has lost the authenticity of the crotto that once made it so characteristic. For food, we opted for the tasting menu, which included: - bresaola, salami, and cheeses (the bresaola was truly excellent) - sciatt (added separately), very flavorful and tasty - pizzocheri bianchi, very rich in cheese and butter (perhaps too much) - sausage and ribs accompanied by exceptional polenta taragna - homemade desserts All this cost about €45 per person, including drinks, but I should point out that you could ask for seconds of each dish. Overall, the experience was more than satisfactory.

Exceptional experience. A very welcoming place, both modern and classic, with extremely kind and helpful staff. Definitely recommended!

24/08/2025: An alternative option for a delicious, authentic meal in Tirano. Plus, it's very reasonably priced, which is a plus given the area. Not far from the center, with both indoor and outdoor seating, generous portions, and a wide selection of perfectly prepared Apulian specialties. The atmosphere is casual and simple, and the owners are always friendly. Definitely worth a try!

15/09/2025: Good food at a reasonable price. It's right next to the lake parking lot. The crostatta was a bit dry but had a good flavor.
