Our dentist (from Chiavenna) recommended this place... Everything was delicious and traditional, from the appetizers to the pizzoccheri, from the braised beef with polenta to the desserts. Reasonable prices. The atmosphere was very family-friendly and the service was quick. Thanks to Sara for her kindness and helpfulness.

The true gem of the valley. It's been handed down through generations for 244 years, and it shows. The best pizzoccheri I've ever eaten, delicious cured meats, and the amazing braulio sorbet. The price was very fair considering how full we were.

We found this crotto on Google Maps. We had a great time. Quality food. The bresaola was truly excellent, not to mention the pizzoccheri and tagliata. The desserts are highly recommended. We thank the excellent staff who made our evening pleasant and welcoming.

We went there in the evening with the basketball team. The menu was agreed upon when we booked. Everything was very good and plentiful! Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

12/03/2026: It's very unassuming from the outside. You enter the restaurant via stairs to a former basement. The music is our 80s, Rod Stewart, California, etc. Fantastic atmosphere - 5. The service is friendly, attentive, and patient with those who don't speak Italian - 5. The dishes are out of this world. My wife ordered the pumpkin soup with chestnuts, an incredible experience and fantastic flavors. I had the capriciosa pizza. We've been wandering around Italy for a while, from Sicily to Lombardy, but I've never had pizza like this anywhere. Something fantastic - 5. We're coming here tomorrow for the rooster.
28/02/2026: Typical local restaurant. The place is very rustic and charming. It's located in the basement, but the lack of windows isn't a problem because the place is very welcoming. The food is very good, and the service is quick and friendly. Prices are fair! Reservations are recommended... They also have car seats for small children. Parking is convenient and right in front of the restaurant. There's only a flight of steps leading down to the restaurant, which might be a bit inconvenient for strollers. Recommended; we'll be back when we're in town!

11/12/2025: A wonderful place not only for winter sports. The hotel has a luxurious environment and excellent cuisine, but also comfortable rooms. I can only recommend it to everyone 👌🍀
