Crotto di Pino In Varenna

A restaurant with a splendid view of the lake and the tip of Bellagio. Quick service in a crotto environment but the dishes are well cared for by the kitchen; the pastas are al dente and the sauces delicious; even the fish from the lake is worth trying. Narrow road to get there but you can find a place somewhere.

Restaurant with spectacular views. About a 30 minute walk from Varenna, the food we had was delicious, professionally presented and the service was very pleasant. Highly recommended!

Rustic and welcoming place. Location with lake view on Varenna, enchanting and romantic Owner and Chef, very original and friendly. We ate various fish dishes, especially lake fish. Delicious dishes with attention to detail. We will definitely be back👍😀

What a beautiful discovery! A typical, family-run restaurant that best represents the local cuisine and hospitality. It is not a luxury restaurant, but it is well looked after, welcoming and with a warm and authentic atmosphere that makes you immediately feel at home. The staff is kind: right from the start they treat you as if you were a regular customer, with sincere smiles and rare availability. The menu is explained with care and passion, and each dish is a pleasant discovery. We started with really tasty appetizers, and then continued with a rich and tasty pasta with sausage ragù, and a tender and well-cooked braised meat. To conclude, the tiramisu was the icing on the cake: creamy, balanced, done properly. An experience I didn't expect: excellent cuisine, familiar and welcoming environment, staff who make you feel important. Highly recommended for those looking for quality without formality, and a place where you eat well and feel even better.
