Great food and a wide selection of wines...I would advise the bearded waiter who, when he petted the dogs that in my opinion shouldn't be in the dining room, to wash his hands before pouring wine for other people...

I must say that the restaurant is very well known but I only went to eat there recently. What can I say, truly spectacular, apart from the road to get there, where it seems like you are going through the suburbs and fields... as soon as you enter you can breathe a bit of that air of tradition and trattoria but you can immediately see the touch of class, all the old tools and equipment are displayed and positioned with care and not in bulk (and without that feeling of disorder and dirt that this type of furniture usually brings with it). The care also extends to the attention in the service and in the welcome that is offered to you, a mix of conviviality but with taste. The platter of cold cuts and cheeses opened our dinner, with jams and vegetables to accompany... to accompany a Grumello from the Nera cellar (excellent), then a nice first course of ricotta ravioli and game sauce, excellent, the ricotta could be felt even if the sauce was tasty! Off the menu for dessert I had a tiramisu, perfectly balanced, usually the cream is too heavy, or there is too much coffee, or the bitter cocoa sticks to your palate... no, here a perfect symphony of flavors. The 4 stars for the service is due to an oversight for which we waited too long for the desserts (misunderstanding on the order), usually this would lead me to give 4 stars, rarely I give 5 stars, but in this case a small mistake did not "eclipse" an excellent experience.

High-end restaurant: location in a room with a vaulted roof and rustic red brick walls, truly splendid as is the exterior. Excellent quality food and preparation made even more enjoyable by the professional service, polite but at the same time brilliant and friendly.

Loved everything about the experience! The service is outstanding - everyone was very welcoming and kind. We were celebrating my partner's birthday and the service took that into account by bringing a little candle on my partner's dessert which was cute. The restaurant is beautiful, loved the peaceful atmosphere. It's a bit up a hill, we took a bus there that was around 5-10 minutes from Como centre and cost 1,5€. Even though some of the foods on the tasting menu weren't my personal favourite, I overall enjoyed the dishes. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Crotto del Sergente is a restaurant that immediately wins you over with its splendid location and welcoming atmosphere. The food is excellent, with carefully prepared dishes full of flavour. The impeccable service makes the experience even more enjoyable. A special note goes to the desserts, delicious and well presented, and to the courtesy of the owner, who welcomes guests with great attention. A place to absolutely try!

Locale nascosto davvero carino che ha sorpreso per il livello del servizio rapido e attento ma soprattutto per il rapporto qualità prezzo. Pappardelle al cacao con sugo di daino, tagliata di cervo, guancia di cinghiale. Tutto davvero ottimo.

Un posto veramente bello sul lago di Como!Servizio eccellente! Cibo tipico del territorio, ottima carta vini !! Cagnolini ben accetti!! Da ritornarci
