This is my fifth or sixth time here. Truly the best, generous portions, excellent quality, and a fair price: an appetizer for three people plus a generous portion of polenta uncia, a braised beef with polenta, a blueberry and mushroom gnocchi, a pizzoccheri, two tiramisu, a liter of red wine, a Coke, a water, two liqueurs, and three coffees, €103.

Fantastic! Discovered this after vacationing in Porlezza for 25 years. Very tasty food and cozy atmosphere. Friendly service. Been there twice in one week. Highly recommend the silver onion antipasti and the pasta with bacon and mushrooms. 👌👌👌 We'll be back.

04/03/2026: When traveling, especially abroad, and you find your perfect neighborhood place, it feels like home. While in Argegno for several days, Bar Motta became our regular. From cappuccinos in the morning to appertivo time in the afternoon, we felt ourselves drawn to this little gem! The staff were friendly and gracious and we happy to suggest local wines and provided exceptional service. We will truly miss this place when we go home!

09/03/2026: They welcomed us without having to book, we ate and drank very well, they even gave us a piece of bread produced by them which we had praised.
01/03/2026: We were welcomed with such kindness and genuine warmth. The meal was excellent, thanks to the chef's numerous pizza awards! One of the best places we visited in Italy. It's well worth the trip, both for the delicious flavors and the attentive service. At the end, the chef took the time to explain and demonstrate how he makes his pizzas. Furthermore, the staff is cheerful and makes an effort to be understood, even trying to speak French. Highly recommended!
