A pleasant discovery in the valley between Menaggio and Porlezza. Very good food, the blueberry and mushroom gnocchi were spectacular. Very friendly staff. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the view of the mountains and the lake is beautiful.

Sometimes it's worth driving a little further, but the trip to Crotta Buba is definitely worth it! The food was stunning, simply fantastic. Whether it was the appetizer or the main course, we enjoyed it. The service was extremely friendly, and we didn't have to wait long. Thank you for this wonderful evening!

We hadn't made a reservation, so we just managed to snag a spot with a view of the mountains and cows. Beautiful too. Authentic Italian food. Superb. Fresh and good quality. Very affordable for Dutch people. Bread, a three-course meal, coffee, a liter of wine, and water for €80.

A truly beautiful location with stunning views. The front overlooks the lake, and the back overlooks fields. The price-quality ratio is also excellent: €10 for pasta and €10 for a liter of house wine. Large portions. Definitely recommended!

During a motorcycle tour, we booked lunch in advance at this lovely little restaurant. They seated us on the terrace, which offers a wonderful view. An excellent experience in every sense.

24/09/2025: We had a wonderful evening yesterday at the Trattoria del Porto. We were served excellent local dishes and were given a wealth of information about the place and the food. Everything was perfect. The owners prepared a wonderful evening for us. If we didn't have to leave again, I would reserve a table for us again immediately!
