Excellent dinner, everything cooked to perfection, excellent wine. The staff were courteous and friendly, as was the owner, who showed us around the crotto. Thank you!

Nice place near the river. Convenient parking nearby. Good service, friendly staff. Large portions of first courses 👌 Second courses could be improved... (making a single dish with vegetables would make the meat lose its flavor).

A crotto rich in local culture, where the dishes, in their simplicity, convey an ancient value and convey all the humanity of a border people accustomed to respecting travelers. The music of the river, babbling alongside the garden, completes the pleasant and relaxing experience guided by the owner and all the staff, who add their expertise to the selection of local cheeses. These cheeses don't have high-sounding names (sometimes too commercial), but are the fruit of research and good taste. Everything is portioned just right, leaving you feeling full without feeling weighed down, so even the bill is balanced and gives you the feeling of having been hosted by a friend. Update 2025: Unfortunately, I will struggle to return. I have three small mutts, a part of my extended family; I wanted to return in September, but the conditions required aren't suitable for my pets. This doesn't mean to take away from the past experience.

Lunch break after visiting the Vertemate Palace, excellent choice, beautiful rustic but well-equipped place, friendly and fast service with excellent dishes in terms of quality and quantity (the ribs were special). Ms. Sofia was very kind and welcoming, helping us from ordering to coffee. Well done, we'll see you again, and I'll spread the word because it's worth it.

YESTERDAY MY WIFE AND I HAD LUNCH FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I MUST SAY THAT AMONG THE CROTTI WHERE I HAVE EATEN, I PUT THIS ONE IN THE FIRST PLACE. THE STAFF WERE VERY KIND.

I went with my family on a Sunday for lunch, a really nice place, very kind staff and a spectacular crotto, I ate really well I started with an appetizer of cured meats, I must say good, but a little small in quantity and it was the only thing that disappointed me a little, gnocchetti chiavennaschi and finally I had the sciatt.. delicious, recommended crotto
