Great lunch in a "real Milanese canteen". A lively, family atmosphere. The dishes were hearty and pleasant (not too many vegetables!), and good value for money. The service was efficient and friendly. An excellent place to eat Milanese food among other Milanese, without any fuss.

You're not wrong!! I often go there for lunch and it's always a guarantee. Few frills, varied and genuine menu. You can eat one course and be full and satisfied but if you want to push it a little it's fun!

Trattoria fantastica, molto economica e di buona qualità. Non è possibile prenotare a pranzo però l'attesa è stata brevissima e il personale super gentile e operativo. Il cibo era ottimo e abbondante, inoltre non fanno pagare il coperto e l'acqua minerale naturale costa €1,50

Restaurante de platos típicos italianos para trabajadores de la zona, muy rico todo. Lo encuentras si vas a visitar las columnas de San Lorenzo y te alejas un poco de la zona turística. Precio muy bueno.

18/06/2025: Small and welcoming place, friendly staff and very good food, plentiful dishes. At lunch they have the menu of the day based on what's available on Fridays fish dishes. They accept all types of payments including restaurant tickets.
23/05/2025: I went back there tonight with a friend of mine, both from Puglia! It was like being at home: the staff was unparalleled in kindness, the intimate atmosphere but above all the delicious food! It was difficult to have to choose, the menu really has authentic and timeless delicacies! I also very willingly took the lunch box home that I will enjoy tomorrow at home, and I never do that! I recommend it, also for the tasting menu to enjoy a trip without the burden of having to choose

Pizzeria da Geppo

22/08/2025: Very good pizza: light and tasty. Mehdi is by far the busiest and friendliest of the waiters. Always kind and smiling, he's ready to satisfy every request. If you can, ask him or an Iranian girl who comes occasionally to serve you. The pizza chefs are also excellent.
11/08/2025: An excellent, one-of-a-kind pizza. For lovers of Roman pizza, a must-visit in Milan!
