A traditional restaurant, the risotto alla milanese was excellent, as were the shank and meatballs. The tripe could be improved, as it was too runny and tough. The staff was friendly and helpful. The chef/owner was friendly and knowledgeable.

I'm certain to return here. Whenever I come to Milan, I enjoy lunch or dinner at this trattoria. I meet pleasant people, the staff is kind and helpful, and the food is consistently good.

It's a place I enjoy frequenting, but I really appreciate that, unlike other places that stick to everlasting menus, here—in addition to the Lombard staples—there's always something new every month, for example this evening: tagliatelle with creamed cavolo nero and pork tenderloin with mustard... truly excellent. Crono always proves to be an excellent choice.

The food is very homely, but that's exactly what people come here for. The cutlet, escalopes in Marsala, and meatballs are delicious. Try them for a casual evening.

27/08/2025: I went here because I was looking for a place to have lunch at an awkward time. It was quiet, comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The pasta was delicious—a pasta you don't find in Korea. There's a 2 euro service charge for lunch, and they give you bread before the meal. Pasta was 16 euros, and a 0.5l bottle of San Pellegrino was 4.
