For me, Croce del Travaglio has become much more than a restaurant; it's a second home where I return often, and every time is a confirmation. ​The food here is an absolute guarantee: the chefs are formidable. While the pici with Chianina ragù and the pici with garlic are a delight for both the eyes and the palate, I must confess my weakness: the pici alla contadina. That duck ragù is indescribable, my absolute favorite dish that I can never say no to. ​But what keeps me coming back, besides the divine food, are the people. With Paola's kindness and Toni's energy, a true friendship has been born. Toni, in particular, is incredible: engaging, incredibly funny, but above all, a kind and talented person unlike any other. It's precisely his humanity that makes every lunch or dinner a special moment. If you want to eat well and feel welcomed by friends, come here for sure.

I've been to this trattoria twice, where you're immediately greeted with warmth and familiarity by the fantastic Tony. The dishes are generously portioned and carefully prepared, showcasing tradition and flavor. I especially recommend the crostini and the ribollita. Prices are reasonable and average.

When you see the place from the outside you don't believe that inside there is such a complexity of tastes hidden in the simplicity of the ingredients. It is the best food I have enjoyed in all of Italy on the one hand, but also the best location given the way you are welcomed and the care you are given. Thank you to everyone who made this culinary journey of the senses so wonderful by the way you took care of us. Grazie! For those who want to try something really special there are pici with tomatoes, garlic and oil.... The taste is unique and special❤️

We spent 10 days in Cortona and returned several times. It's the best place! We loved everything we tried. Great service and great value.

The food is delicious, the prices are fair, but the best thing is the service, especially from Toni; it makes you want to come back.

Simple decor, but you come for the food, after all. And it was very good. Considering the price, it was even excellent. Only surpassed by the warm and friendly manner of the waiters. Highly recommended.

Just got back from one of the best lunch experiences so far in our trip to Italy. The food was really outstanding. The prices were very low for this part of the world and a really good value. The pizza was one of the best we’ve ever tasted, also the pasta was something I’ve never experienced before. Pici with Ragu. The real thing that made it special was that the staff were so authentic,kind,warm,and welcoming.

A very pleasant atmosphere and very good food. The service was fantastic, especially the waiter Toni, who was very helpful and attentive throughout. The price and quality were very reasonable.

Vi har nu besøgt denne restaurant to gange og vi var meget begejstret hvergang. Første gang fik vi to forretter og to hovedretter, begge dele var meget velsmagende. Betjeningen var i top og der var masser af italiensk charme. Stedet er ikke et luksus sted men super hyggeligt. Anden gang måtte vi bare prøve deres pizzaer, første gang vi kom så vi pizzaerne og blev hurtig enig om de skulle prøves. Vi bestilte to forskellige og de var bedre end gode. De pizzaer vi fik er de tyndeste jeg nogensinde har fået, så er man ikke til det er det nok ikke stedet for jer. Vi vil genbesøge stedet inden vi skal videre.
