Excellent environment. We ate the arancino with frog meat ragù. Truly superlative, for the delicate taste, for the excellent breading and frying. Compliments.

Bar a few steps from the center of Paternò. Large place with smoking and non-smoking room. Large and clean bathrooms, almost like hotels. Prepared and very kind staff serves at the tables and at the counter. Recommended from breakfast to dinner.

I've only tried the Iris and I have to say that so far they are the best Iris I've tried! And I've tried them in many places because I'm an Iris lover! Everything was excellent, both the dough and the chocolate! PS: Iris price €1.80

12/10/2025: Being black and British, I was amazed by the hospitality. The staff and customers were welcoming and friendly. Wow! My 1st day in the country went amazingly well. Thank you! 💋
12/10/2025: AMAZING Arancino! Best of my trip in Sicily. My husband had a Ragu and a had a spinach. They were so moist and delicious. I was unable to find one that was as good the rest of my trip. As far as the other items we tried- the Spritz and aperitivo options and the mini cassata cake and mini cannoli. Those weren’t bad but didn’t blow me away. The cassata was not great in the mini form as once you got through the heavy sugar coating, there wasn’t much left on the inside. And for the price of the tiny cake… two bites was not really worth it. The cannoli was good, just didn’t really love it in the mini form because I prefer the filling ratio of a large cannoli. The service we received from a counter attendant that spoke English was phenomenal! He was so patient and answered all my questions.

25/04/2025: Quando ti fermi per caso e scopri un tesoro autentico. Ai piedi di Caltagirone abbiamo incontrato Sebastiano, una persona splendida, ex calciatore del Caltagirone e oggi custode della vera cucina tradizionale. Polli cotti come una volta sul braciere, caponata da manuale, patate arrosto e carciofi alla brace… Semplicità e sapori di altri tempi. Un pranzo che ti riporta indietro, come mangiare da tua nonna, con quel gusto sincero , come Sebastiano del resto persona di altri tempi,che ormai è raro trovare .
