We came to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends. The location is very comfortable and pleasant. Parking is available, and there are some extremely interesting nature trails nearby. The restaurant is very popular, so I recommend making a reservation, although the owner is happy to accommodate guests whenever possible. The food and ingredients are excellent. We ordered a complete antipasto (cheeses, cured meats, spinach, and polenta), strozzapreti with wild boar ragù, and potato gnocchi with Bolognese ragù. The owner is very warm and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Every time I go up to Livata, my go-to stop is always the great Maurizio of Cristallo di Neve (Campo dell'Osso), right on the square. He's kind, friendly, and a very human and kind-hearted person. His cuisine is one of the few that leaves a lasting impression on you. Typical products, carefully selected by him and his staff, are the perfect culinary delights I've never tasted before, from truffles to cuts of meat to fresh homemade pasta. Maurizio and his wife have a great heart and attention, dedicated above all to their customers, but equally to their passion for this job. Talk to him, even just for a chat, and you'll feel like you've known him your whole life!

Positive experience. We had a wonderful lunch outside, enjoying the sunshine and the peace of the mountains. The food was good, and the staff were very friendly.

We returned to Monte Livata, unlike almost a year ago, to spend a few days in peace and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of Rome. Cristallo di Neve, like last year, was unremarkable. We returned, with a smile, to our favorite place. Maurizio, the perfect host, never wavered in making us feel at home. Despite the miles that separate us, returning to this restaurant is like coming home after a long vacation. A relief. The attention to detail, the customer service, a chat while enjoying the magnificent view, makes for a surreal experience. Magnificent. The quality of the food is superb, as are the people who work there. We had the opportunity to choose other destinations for our little getaway, but nothing is like returning to them. A little corner of happiness, nestled in the mountains of Rome. A crystal, indeed. A must-try, a must-try at least once in a lifetime. He wins you over with a few kind words and decides, without you realizing it, to make you return. We chose it once and we'll choose it again. Thank you, Maurizio, and thank you, Irene. Not everyone is a restaurateur, but you do it on behalf of everyone else. Wonderful.

We spent a day in the mountains, and after a lovely hike, even though the kitchen was closed at 4 PM, the very kind Mrs. Irene seated us and served us a platter of excellent cured meats and cheeses accompanied by a truly delicious Cesanese. The homemade desserts were delicious, and to finish, a very popular digestif, also made on site. I recommend this restaurant for a great culinary break! We'll definitely be back! "Le Claudie"

5-star lunch ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had lunch today with some friends and I have to say the quality of the dishes was truly excellent (various and plentiful!!!). We had appetizers, first courses, desserts, and wine: everything was delicious (the tiramisu was out of this world). I'd also like to highlight the professionalism, friendliness, and passion of the owners, Maurizio and Irene, two truly wonderful people who welcomed us with great affection to their restaurant. Given the beautiful sunny day, despite it being September, we were able to have lunch on the outdoor veranda (you can choose between shade or sun). ps: parking right in front of the restaurant, the place is clean, and the wait staff was attentive to our requests. Service, location, food, everything is truly excellent. Located in the Monte Livata area, this restaurant offers truly spectacular dishes. They make homemade pasta; I had pappardelle with venison, which was truly delicious. The ragù is fantastic, and they use so much meat. The ingredients are spectacular. A first course (the one I chose) costs €16, a great price considering the ingredients, the quality, and the portion size. The managers and wait staff are all very kind. They always offer free bitters. They also offered me dry desserts (ciambelline). I will definitely be back.
