Mediterranean cuisine restaurant located on Via dei Fabbri in the historic center of Pistoia in a characteristic setting furnished with taste and attention to detail, very quiet and welcoming where you can enjoy good typical Tuscan dishes, an excellent selection of wines and a youthful, kind and friendly service.

We had salads, pasta, tiramisu, drinks. All was great!

A TASTEFUL BANQUET IN THE CENTURY-OLD VIA DEI FABBRI 🍷 Four of us visited this osteria in the heart of the geometric city center: two adults and two children, to test the honesty and expertise of the local chef. As you can see from the menu attached to this review, the menu offers interesting ideas, although the decor and some of the furnishings are too modern. The kitchen is notoriously mischievous, but here it handled itself with commendable judgment. We began our meal with tagliatelle with farmyard ragù, which proved to be very good and flavorful, followed by a tomato version for the little ones, equally commendable and carefully prepared. Curiosity drove me to order the dish called "La nostra viareggina," a seafood first course where the mezzé paccheri, beautifully complemented by mussels, clams, shellfish, and squid, were incredibly satisfying. Next, the grilled pork tenderloin proved tender and perfectly cooked, a dish worthy of an 1891 manual. We also tried the fried vegetables: they were truly amazing, a bizarre but exquisite treat that delighted the palates of both adults and children. If one were to apply the Triad of Scientific Judgment, I would say that Hygiene is impeccable and Good Taste reigns supreme in the pans; Economy, or rather, the final outlay, remains within the proper bounds of decorum, without turning into a drain that would make your wallet weep. An excellent experience, falling short of absolute perfection only because of certain overly contemporary nuances, but which deservedly touches on the Beautiful and the Good.
