The food is excellent, whether you sit down or take out. The food is fresh and varied. First courses, second courses, side dishes, bread, and desserts are all homemade. The tart is amazing, as is the seared tuna and roast beef.

Cotto e Portato has become a staple for our family. Every Saturday lunch has become a tradition: always delicious food, generous portions, and very fair prices. The quality is truly excellent; you can taste the passion and care behind every dish. The staff is delightful; they make you feel at home, and that makes all the difference. But it doesn't end there: we always rely on their catering for our house parties, and it's simply spectacular! Refined dishes, impeccable organization, and the guarantee of always making a great impression on our guests. A success every time.

Since we discovered Cotto e Portato, our family Saturdays have become a true ritual! Every dish is a surprise: super-fresh ingredients, generous portions, and super affordable prices. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home. We can't help but mention their tarts (ricotta, chocolate, and sour cherries... Mamma mia!) and their casatiello: absolutely amazing, it's a real pleasure every time!

I've been there twice, both for lunch and dinner, since I was in the area. They offer a variety of ready-made dishes, allowing you to grab a quick meal if you're short on time and don't want to spend a fortune. I tried the pork loin with potatoes, and then, the next time, the cold rice. Both were more than decent. The price is excellent, around €6-7 per dish, and you'll eat like you're at home.

The service was very efficient, friendly, and fast; the food was absolutely second to none, truly, truly good.

The staff was so friendly and patiently explained everything, even though I clearly had no idea how to order. If you are visiting from abroad and aren't super familiar with Italian dining, I'll tell you that the best option is to get a Secondo + Contorno plate (for a main course plus a side) or a Piatto Misto (for main course, pasta course and a side). The food is tasty and provides a much needed affordable opportunity to eat vegetables. Loved the fennel, loved the steak, loved the tuna, loved the ravoli.
