Cotto e Portato In Roma

We turned to Cotto e Portato for a catering service for Christmas. The service was excellent, the food very good and the price fair. Thank you.

Perfect solution for a good and economical daily meal.

Great place for a low key, local experience of lunch away from the tourist traps. Cantina style, you have a selection of dishes to choose from, usually meat or fish paired up with a vegetable dish. They also have some pasta dishes like lasagne. Very good value at around €5-7 Euro’s. Bread on the side is complimentary too. Staff were accommodating and spoke English which I was grateful for with my limited Italian. Perfect little stop off if you are getting of at Trastevere station from the airport or/and staying locally in Monteverde.

Posto delizioso. Il personale e i ragazzi che ci lavorano sono veramente gentili e super disponibili. Il locale offre veramente un’ampia scelta di cibi tutti preparati in maniera magistrale. Non offre solo cibo tipicamente romano ma veramente di tutto. Il locale è grazioso e l’atmosfera che si respira è quella di una famiglia. Il signor Marco una persona speciale e che dire della sua crostata? Sublime. Credo che torneremo dalla Sardegna solo per loro. Consigliatissimo
