We were traveling during August and even though they were closing they made an effort to ensure we had a quick meal. The lady who I imagine was the owner was kind enough to also offer us some local sweets, which were really delicious! I will keep good memories of Lecce.

Historic place in Lecce, very quiet with outdoor and shaded space. Really very friendly staff. Excellent food and value for money. I recommend it for a sweet break or an aperitif. But we were lucky that we found the orecchiette. Very good. For tourists in Lecce I recommend it. The rustic is fantastic. A wide selection of desserts at the counter.

Best pastry shop in Lecce by far!! Giorgio was very helpful, let me taste what I was going to buy, the cantuccini were the best and I had them right out of the oven!! Unbelievably delicious!!

Unique experience.. we discovered this place thanks to the advice of a local person.. he had assured us that we would eat the best pasticciotti in Lecce... The reality went beyond expectations... Pasticciotti tasted in various flavours.. pistachio , classic and quince jelly... unique goodness. But our experience doesn't end here... we were pampered by Barbara (resembling the actress Valentina Lodovini) who gave us all kinds of sweet experiences... Puffs with zabaglione cream and sugared almonds and chocolate...🤤🤤 😋. Ah, not to mention the fried calzones and rustic Leccese... If you pass through Lecce... you must stop at the Cotognata Leccese pastry bar... Greetings to all the professional and friendly staff.

Classica colazione leccese caffè freddo con ghiaccio e mandorla e pasticciotto . Caffè nella media ma pasticciotto davvero buono e gustoso. Personale gentile

Bar pasticceria molto valida, peccato che servano la cotognata solo in porzioni gigantesche, occorre comprare l’intera confezione. Pasticciotti senza lattosio, pochi posti a sedere fuori.
