Very good pizza, in a warm and welcoming environment. Being a Saturday evening the service was a little slower, but more than understandable. Advised!

Convivial lunch with colleagues. I only took a second, but the choice was not a happy one. Well cooked dish, but the quality of the main ingredient (meat) was absolutely unsatisfactory and not up to par with the rest of the dishes. Well-kept place and adequately trained and friendly staff.

Excellent cuisine, quality raw materials, wide choice of menus and adequate prices!

Returned on Sunday for lunch to eat Pantelleria-style swordfish and Milanese-style ossobuco. Everything really excellent. Compliments to the chef and Rodi for the room service.

A place with a refined environment and a proposed menu mainly linked to Sicilian cuisine. The staff is professional and the prices high, even if the quality of the dishes is high. The grilled squid with potatoes, the desserts (tried Bacio di Pantelleria) and the pizza were very good. In the latter case, the Margherita pizza ordered was offered at €8 on the menu, but was charged €10. The cover charge costs €2 and includes a freshly cooked white pizza, but no bread basket was brought. 0.75 liter bottle of water, €3. Entrecote with baked potatoes €16 Squid with potatoes €16 Pizza Margherita €10 Sweet Kiss of Pantelleria €8 Two small Sicilian cannoli €8 Sicilian Cassatina, proposed among the desserts of the day €6. Giovedì 1° Agosto abbiamo celebrato il compleanno di Lady Barbie Jones, mia moglie, presso il Ristorante CORTEVECCHIA, situato all’inizio del cento storico di Arese. Ampio parcheggio pubblico in Piazza della Repubblica a 100 metri dall’ingresso del Ristorante. Vi Siamo andati, incuriositi ed attratti dalla cucina siciliana, in compagnia di una coppia di amici. Innanzitutto il Ristorante CORTEVECCHIA, si caratterizza per l’eleganza e la cura dei dettagli che traspare anche dalla location in pieno centro storico e, come accennato, a due passi dalla zona pedonale. Si può cenare sia all’interno sia all’esterno, nel giardino: interno con aria condizionata giardino con ventilatore; Noi abbiamo cenato nel giardino (e per fortuna non troppo afoso), ma ritengo che all’interno l’aria condizionata avrebbe rinfrescato meglio i nostri spiriti. Come anticipato la cucina di uno chef siciliano presenta nel menù alcune prelibatezze tipiche della cucina mediterranea ed in particolare di quella siciliana. Venendo a Noi abbiamo preso Antipasti per 4, di cui 3 TIEPIDA DI MARE a base di Calamari, polpo, seppie, gamberi e cozze ed 1 CARCIOFO ALLA ROMANA ripieno di BACCALA’ MANTECATO. Abbiamo poi proseguito con 1 GRIGLIATA DI MARE comprendente Tonno, pesce spada, calamaro, gamberoni e scampi, 1 PESCE SPADA MEDITERRANEO ALLA PANTESCA a base di capperi e origano di Pantelleria, patate, pomodorino, cipolla rossa e olive, 1 CALAMARO RIPIENO AI SAPORI MEDITERRANEI ovvero con Pinoli, uva passa, pangrattato, cacio ragusano, prezzemolo, aglio, semi finocchietto, e per concludere 1 ASTICE ALLA CATALANA (mezzo astice) con verdure croccanti di stagione, a richiesta cipolla rossa di Tropea. 4 dessert, il tutto innaffiato da una ottima bottiglia di Prosecco VALDOBBIADENE e … tanta, tanta acqua. Prezzo Finale Euro 150 a coppia, in linea con la qualità più che discreta della cena. Personale discreto e professionale, infra settimana non c’era confusione e meglio si è apprezzata la cucina e la location.
