The atmosphere is very formal, more like a restaurant than a trattoria, as is the €3 per person cover charge. The menu, however, is typically trattoria-style, simple and limited, a sign of the focus on raw ingredients. We ordered a hot appetizer with the addition of cardoons, artichokes, and sage, a first course from the menu, reginette with anchovies, and two off-menu first courses, spaghetti with red mullet and fennel, and busiate with macco and shrimp. The fried pasta was delicious, dry and crispy, and the first course with anchovies was good, but unfortunately the other two were disappointing. The busiate were topped with macco, to which five raw shrimp were added, nothing more. The result is that you eat pasta with macco and every now and then a bite with a shrimp added. The macco was missing the kick that would capture the flavor of the shrimp. The same thing happened with the spaghetti with red mullet, which lacked the unmistakable flavor of this fish that you'd expect when ordering a red mullet dish. The wine selection by the glass was excellent.
It's a shame, because the many positive reviews suggest a different kind of experience.

It's always a pleasure to come to dinner with you!!!
A delightful dinner!!! The welcome was as if we were visiting friends. Excellent ingredients, well prepared and beautifully served. The off-menu options are always the best: the catch of the day is beautifully prepared. Tonight, an honorable mention goes to the gurnard tartare with oil, mint, olives, pepper, and coarse salt. The cuttlefish in a brick oven is a spectacle. The sweet and sour gurnard with caramelized onion is exquisite. Always an excellent selection of wines. The desserts and liqueurs are delicious. Highly recommended!!! See you soon.

I've been to Corona Trattoria many times and will definitely return as soon as I can. Alessandro and his father welcome you and make you feel at home right away. They're always happy to recommend their truly special dishes, each with its own unique flavor! Orazio has a vast knowledge of wines to pair with their delicious dishes, and his mother makes unique cassatelle! The entire staff is friendly and professional. It's an experience worth repeating again and again!

The service was excellent!!
The welcome was friendly and efficient.
The service was exemplary throughout the entire stay.
The appetizers were exceptionally delicious, the main course (a recommendation from the owner) was okay, although I would have liked a little more spice in the tomato sauce.
The cassata was absolutely divine.
Overall, a lovely, relaxing evening.
The extensive wine list with Sicilian wines was exemplary!

Quality food. Some traditional dishes are expertly and expertly prepared. Among them are the pasta with anchovies, the pasta with clams, and the pasta with red pesto. The appetizers and fried fish are also high quality. The portion sizes are somewhat limited considering the restaurant's reputation as a trattoria, which is matched by the high prices. What can I say? It's a pleasure to eat, and I appreciate the quality of the dishes, but... I'd happily pay more for larger portions. That said, I highly recommend it. It's worth a try. Well done! P.S. A bottle of sparkling wine also impacted the average price...

Highly recommended experience at this restaurant, also featured in the Top 50 Italy. Everything was exceptional, from the quality of the food (the raw tuna was top notch) to the friendly, attentive, and attentive service.
A wide selection of dishes is available on the menu, mostly seafood, with many off-menu options that change daily.
The restaurant is modern, simple, and well-maintained.
An essential stop if you're in Palermo!
