Coquus In Lucera

A wonderful discovery in Lucera, a warm and welcoming place. The cuisine is interesting and original. I was there for work, but I'll be back with my family one of these Sunday lunches! Compliments to Chef Mirko (who revealed the delicious culinary innovations coming with the new menu)

A small restaurant with exposed brick walls and a rustic style, but great attention to detail. Gourmet dishes. We visited with a voucher for a tasting menu, which included perhaps the most basic dishes in the restaurant. However, the restaurant also offers very new dishes with unusual pairings (which we'll have to try later). The service took a bit long, but it was worth it.

Fantastic. I'll start by saying that I personally don't like tartare. I've eaten/tasted it in various places, but the result has always been adamant: no! No raw meat! But here it was spectacular. I don't know if it was the atmosphere, the combination of the ingredients, or the accompanying sauce, but here I can say I rediscovered a dish that we'll definitely be back for more. Not to mention the lemon spaghetti with tuna tartare, fabulous, all accompanied by a white focaccia and a good white wine. I only give it 4* because the water wasn't very cold, but that's a matter of taste. That said, we'll definitely be back, thanks.

My partner and I come to Coquus for special occasions because the dishes on the menu are truly exceptional: top-quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. Excellent value, and finally, Mirko, the owner, is extremely helpful in presenting and recommending the various dishes. We'll be back as soon as possible!
