We had dinner in this restaurant, a nice place with an adequate number of tables, lots of wood and soft lights (perhaps too much so). The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. The large windows overlook Florence, so the view is certainly the strong point. The staff is courteous and pleasant. The menu offers both meat and fish dishes, mainly meat, and very few vegetables; it is not a place for vegetarians or for those suffering from high cholesterol. The meat, as a raw material, is of excellent quality, so I recommend you try that. The other dishes lack in preparation. The egg was not balanced, the flavor of the pecorino dominated all the others, excluding them from the taste. The crust was under-seasoned, with too little seasoning compared to the bread. The cut was good: you could feel that the meat was of high quality. I had it with porcini mushrooms, but I recommend you order it without, to enjoy its flavor better. The final chocolate cake, with a dark centre, was not very dark and was too dense. In short, in general it is a good restaurant, where the raw materials are of high quality, but in the kitchen a more balanced hand is needed, one that knows how to play better with weights and measures. The wine list is good, with a lot of quality choices, but I didn't appreciate the fact that, having ordered the wine by the glass, they did not show us the bottles: the glasses arrived directly at the table. I would also correct this aspect. Worth trying, especially on nice days, to enjoy the view and enjoy a nice Florentine steak. I recommend booking.
