The food is good, the prices are low, the people are friendly and welcoming, and there's an air of freedom. These are all rare things in most Milanese restaurants.

I always love returning to Cooperativa La Liberazione. Service is quick and incredibly friendly. The summer menu, featuring panzanella, parmigiana, gazpacho, vitello tonnato, and other tempting dishes, keeps you coming back to try everything. The draft beer is also excellent. The atmosphere is truly relaxed and the prices are truly fair. Super! And let's hope it stays that way! Winter update: the cassoela with polenta is also excellent!

It's always a pleasant place, always full of nice people of all ages. Osteria-style, mostly traditional Italian food with a varied and never-ending menu. As a vegetarian, I appreciate the always so many interesting and never-boring options. The draft beer and appetizers they serve for aperitivo are excellent (€5 with a beer or spritz). The prices are incredibly low for Milan, a rarity. The service is incredibly fast; my boyfriend and I always laugh at how you turn around and your plate is already in front of you. I recommend booking on Fridays and Saturdays. A stimulating, welcoming, busy, and diverse left-leaning atmosphere.

The location and the food are guaranteed! It's definitely worth a visit for anyone who's new to this place!

Good quality/price ratio in a quiet area

One of the few places in Milan that has stood the test of time and remains authentic. Very good prices, an incredible atmosphere, and they are truly warm-hearted people. I once got stopped at noon because I'd forgotten my hat inside a week earlier. I go there every time I'm in the area.
