The atmosphere is intimate, super cute, and welcoming. The staff is truly kind and attentive (these are also the reasons why we always return). The menu is truly interesting and original, with a variety of revisited Roman dishes. The food is excellent and the prices are absolutely fair. We'll definitely be back soon.

We had dinner this evening and can say without hesitation that the restaurant far exceeded our expectations. From the first moment, we found a welcoming, refined, and pleasant atmosphere, with attentive and impeccable service. The food was simply out of this world: each dish was prepared with great care, using quality ingredients and balanced flavors that were evident at first bite. Even the dessert was truly excellent, the perfect conclusion to a memorable dinner. A special thanks goes to Eros, who looked after us with great professionalism, kindness, and attention. Always discreet, available, and attentive to our needs, he helped make the experience even more enjoyable and made us feel truly welcomed and pampered. Conciabocca far exceeded our expectations: a restaurant that manages to combine quality, attention to detail, and excellent service. It's definitely a place we'll happily recommend and return to. Original offerings, a bit different from the typical Roman fare in Testaccio. There were four of us, and we had a variety of choices, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The quality of the products was high, and the prices were more than reasonable. The service was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

Thank you to this restaurant for saving my impression of Roman cuisine as a tourist. The carbonara was delicious, the stewed tripe was superb, and the tiramisu was light and flavorful. I visited here two nights in a row because I was alone and wanted to try every Italian restaurant imaginable.

Traditional dishes revisited. The first course with chicory tagliolini is exquisite. We enjoyed the desserts a little less.

This place is excellent! AMAZING carbonara. The guys there are awesome and this is genuinely some of the best in Rome. Out of the tourist area, well worth the trip! This is the authentic stuff right here for sure, I loved it.

This charming trattoria is located in Rome's Testaccio neighborhood, where the Roman atmosphere still reigns supreme. The dining room is small but extremely welcoming, thanks in part to the simple, tasteful, and elegant decor. The waitstaff welcomes you with professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness. These qualities have become rare in Roman restaurants. Kudos to all the staff. But let's move on to the menu, which offers traditional local dishes expertly prepared by the chef (kudos also to the chef), all equally exquisite. To name just a few: the best carbonara in Rome, stuffed artichoke, veal cheek, boneless rabbit, and wine biscuits. The wine cellar boasts a decent selection. The quality-price ratio is excellent.

Enjoyed several small dishes shared among 3 of us, in particular the sweetbreads and the bao. Mains (also shared) were delicious. Going back to try pasta dishes. Oh, creative and delicious tiramisu, one of the best I’ve tried in the last two months in Rome

Extremely happy with choosing CONCIABOCCA. The wines - eccelenti. Selection and quality are great. The dishes were wonderful - trippa alla romana, e tortelli di coda alla vaccinara. Great flavor, quick service, a nice, hot, filling meal at a fair price. Service was best in class - il Signore cameriere was very kind to let me practice my Italian until it failed me, and he swept in with perfect English without shaming me to better help me understand suggestions and the background of each part of my meal. What a smart man. The tiramisu finished strong - it is not heavy and guilt-ridden like at other places. It was perfect. I also respect that the owner defends their food quality in the reviews here. it shows they have integrity and stand by their work and concept. I think I’m correct in dismissing the few poor reviews here. They do not seem to have the best intentions or an acceptance of the advertised concept of this restaurant, and they are all from a long time ago. It was So lovely to get out of the tourist crowds.
