The food is extremely tasty, and the portions are generous, on par with ones from a loving Nonna, one that can not leave you go hungry and sad. We've been here 3 times and can not stop! I will think about the food here once I'm back home.

Found via positive reviews. One of the few places that the reviews really agree on. Everything is delicious, it's a shame that you can't taste all the delicious dishes they make. I sincerely hope to return soon 😋💫

Been yesterday for my last day in this beautiful island ( Ortigia ) and Syracuse. We had the best dinner of our holiday, great food, friendly service and very cosy restaurant. If you come in Ortigia, you must come here. You will found people outside to wait to sit cause it's worth it the waiting.

It's a nice place, but there are a lot of tourists. The food is delicious, the service is fast, and the portions are big. It's a good place to come for a quick meal.

Il locale è modesto e minuscolo, con qualche tavolo fuori. Ma la cucina è formidabile, il personale efficiente e cordiale, le porzioni molto abbondanti. Abbiamo diviso in quattro una frittura di pesce come antipasto e preso un primo (il degli ottimi spaghetti con le vongole). Tutto molto fresco e ben preparato Prezzi molto convenienti

Cod da Saretta Merluzzo fritto is a hidden gem. Tucked away in an atmospheric neighborhood of Ortygia, this off the beaten path restaurant is worth searching out. It is a neighborhood joint -so no tourist menu. The seafood is fresh and expertly prepared. The squid ink past was outstanding! J

09/02/2025: Very friendly place with excellent food. Interior is small but well decorated in a retro style, plus you can see granny in the kitchen, which feels like home. The carbonara was amazing. I think this place could make use of a heated seating area outside, because people were flocking to the restaurant even on a rainy day in February, which is praise for the kitchen in itself. Strongly recommended.
19/01/2025: Delicious food, simple and amazing dishes. Ravioli with ricotta and tiramisu to die for! Very friendly staff!

19/01/2025: Homemade cuisine like few others left in the area.
13/01/2025: We had the pleasure of having lunch at the Monte Criscione farmhouse and we were fully satisfied. The food is excellent, with authentic dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. Each course was a pleasure for the palate! The staff is extremely kind and attentive, making the atmosphere even more pleasant. The view is truly spectacular: you can admire the surrounding greenery and, in the distance, the sea, which gives a touch of magic to the whole experience. The quality-price ratio is also average, which makes everything even more appreciable. We highly recommend this farmhouse to anyone looking for a relaxing and tasty break surrounded by nature!
