Coctail Bar Tropea In Tropea

I am adding to the review because I stayed again on the night of June 9, 2024 and I confirm what is written below, nothing new. It is the first time I have written a review even though I have already been there about ten times over the years and always with a tent for 2 nights or a little more, in different periods between June and September (like this time from the 15th). I have always found a place even though it is always very busy like this time despite it being mid-September. Campsite unchanged over the years, not new in any way but functional if you are not looking for luxury. Very beautiful location, directly on the sea, as beautiful as the beach which however is quite crowded like the nearby ones. It has nothing beyond the toilets and an excellent restaurant/pizzeria/bar right on the sea, no market, entertainment or anything else. Very courteous staff both in management and in the restaurant. The pitches are all the same, covered by a sheet, and you can also keep your car there. No flies, wasps and mosquitoes. For ants, the usual precautions are enough. Outside the campsite, you just have to take the steps to reach the magnificent historic center of Tropea. From the nearby port, boats leave for trips along the coast or to the Aeolian Islands. In conclusion, I absolutely recommend it, if only for its strategic location.

Camping ok, places by the sea very nice. Showers and toilets are clean but, sorry, they urgently need to be renovated. No hacks in the showers and almost all the locks are broken or missing

Sanitary facilities are ok and there is hot water. Pitches very narrow but clean. For us this was only a place for 1 night so everything was fine.

Location very close to the town but unfriendly staff.

Very well located, quickly to the beautiful sea and to the city. In terms of the sanitary facilities and the size of the pitch, the CP is not worth more than €20.

A smaller campsite with a great location right by the sea and at the same time close to the city, which you can easily reach on foot (just climb the stairs above the campsite). The plots are shaded, we had plenty of space. There is direct access to the beach from the campsite. Social facilities older, but functional. Hot water included in the price between 8-10 am and 4-10 pm. The owner is very helpful, he will help very well with parking navigation. The campsite is peaceful and very quiet at night.

First row out of season no problem at all. Very good pitch right by the sea, showers are warm in certain time slots, toilets are clean, there is electricity and water/wastewater. Tropea can be reached very quickly via stairs.

Simple campsite in a great location

Very nice campsite right in the center of Tropea. The location of this place is its biggest advantage. Close to the center, just a few steps and stairs, close to the beach, close to restaurants and shops. The price is low and adequate to the conditions. The toilets and showers are a few years old, but they are clean and you can use them without any problems. The service was nice and smiling. I highly recommend it

A tiny, very intimate campsite right next to the beach. There is everything: electrical connection, water discharge, drinking water. The toilets may not be super modern, but hot water is included in the price during certain hours. I think this is a great solution. The plots are large. A pet-friendly place. From the campsite you have access to the old town directly across the street via stairs. 105 steps and you are on a wonderful observation deck. In strong winds, a seat in the front row is not very pleasant because the noise of the waves at night makes it difficult to sleep. Great service. The campsite restaurant offers great food. I recommend.
