My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely dinner on the patio of Ristorante Classe 80, a charming fish restaurant. Luckily we came early enough so we could still get a table, because, as the evening progressed, the restaurant quickly filled up with customers.
The service was very friendly and professional, although their English is limited. I really liked the fact that the waiter showed us the freshly caught fish, so we could pick whichever fish we liked.
The food was excellent. After sharing some antipasti with my boyfriend I had octopus as a starter and lobster as a main course. I finished off my meal with al lovely pasticciotto.

We had dinner at this place in Otranto and left satisfied. Very refined cuisine, particular and scenic at the same time. Competent and friendly young staff provide the backdrop to the magical moment of dinner. Simple place, refined fish dishes, delicious paccheri with redfish, too bad there were only 6 paccheri... another 2/3 were enough to be perfect! Tuna, ginger and apple tartare very good and out of the ordinary that is presented. Value for money lies in the weight of everything, I would advise the kids that perhaps at the end of the dinner a bitter offered would have been the touch of class.

Restaurant outside the historic center. The entrance doesn't look like much, but there's a nice terrace at the back. Choice of fish by weight. Some original proposals in the entries. Everything was very good. Pleasant and professional service. A good address for those who want to eat away from the flow of tourists.

I called the place with very little notice to reserve a table, despite this, they kindly let me sit without problems or waiting.
As an appetizer I had the roasted octopus, and I highly recommend the paccheri with fresh tuna: very tasty and generous portions. Honest prices.
The guys in the room are attentive and prepared, an impeccable service that will make you feel pampered.
At the end of dinner, I had a chat with the owner who told me about the beautiful reality they managed to build.
I will definitely return during my next visit to Salento!

Materia prima di altissima qualità e freschissima, piatti studiati nei minimi particolari e poi ho assaggiato uno spaghetto agli scampi come non lo mangiavo da anni e anni, un sugo ricco di sapore che sa di casa, davvero emozionante!!!!
Scampi veri e di dimensioni generose, non quella minutaglia che si trova altrove, qualità della pasta eccellente. Complimenti ragazzi, consigliatissimo!!!

This is mostly seafood and much of the menu options are raw seafood. We struggled with communicating with the wait staff as they don’t speak much English. They were nice enough just had difficulty understanding our questions. We ordered a lobster pasta and asked that the lobster meat be removed from the shell but instead we were delivered plates with utensils to crack it ourselves. The pasta was plain with a tomato sauce only, pretty unimpressive.
