We booked with the fork in the late afternoon to have dinner that same evening. As soon as we arrived they welcomed us cordially and then accompanied us to the table (plus: air-conditioned room). The restaurant also has a series of outdoor tables but on a muggy August evening like that we preferred to stay in the cool. The room inside is well looked after and tastefully furnished. Speed, professionalism and smile are the key words of the service. Nothing to say about the food, everything was excellent. Fair price quality (we also had a €20 discount on the total thanks to the fork). Advised

Locale molto carino ed accogliente, sia dentro che fuori. La sera in cui siamo stati noi non era molto affollato, per cui si poteva conversare tranquillamente. La cena è stata buona, bei piatti cucinati bene. Conto allineato alla qualità grazie al coupon del 50% di The Fork, altrimenti direi un pochino alto, se paragonato ad altri ristoranti della stessa fascia che abbiamo frequentato durante la vacanza. In particolare mi sono sembrati un po' alti i prezzi dei vini, se non ricordo male nulla al di sotto dei 30€. In ogni caso abbiamo trascorso una piacevole serata.

Not as good as we hoped, unfortunately. We had the summer set menu (4 courses for 45€pp). First course (swordfish carpaccio) had almost no flavour, and the portion was too big for an appetiser or starter. Second course (pasta with tuna), the tuna was overcooked. Other than that it had loads of flavour and the pasta was really good. Third course (fried cod with fennel ‘sauce’ (?)), the cod was overcooked, and the dish itself was small (compared to the previous dishes) and bland. The dessert was good (pistachio cannoli).
However, the place is really nice and the staff is really attentive and kind. We just feel like the food was not worth the cost compared to other food we have had in Sicily and ortigia.
We hoped for better, but were unfortunately disappointed.

Nice place, welcoming and very friendly staff. We booked an evening with The Fork at 50%, I thought I would be treated a little more superficially as has already happened to me in other places, but instead we were treated very well, and this is very pleasing. Little to say about the food, excellent, with delicious combinations. 10 and praise
