Passing through Varsi on your way to Tosca you will find this beautiful and welcoming trattoria. 2 elegantly furnished rooms (one with fireplace) with much appreciated details such as the logged napkin holder. We had lunch with a starter of polenta and porcini mushrooms... mixed starter of cured meats, bread made by them as well as focaccia. Their dishes are made on the spot. A first course of pumpkin tortelli and potato tortelli with Porcini mushrooms. As a second course, roast veal with baked potatoes and ribs...a delicacy. Exquisite desserts, chocolate cake with dark heart. The excellent wine list. Professional and kind staff. The bathroom clean and modern. We will gladly return.
