On the Chiaia waterfront... If it weren't for 8,000 cars honking around you, it would be beautiful, with a view of Vesuvius and the marina... The doughnuts and gelato are fantastic. The savory snacks are simple but very good.

We waited about ten minutes for a table. The place is very crowded in the evenings, especially on Saturdays. Prices are a bit high if you sit down, but some of the desserts are definitely worth a look. The fried graffe, for example, are freshly made, hot, and truly delicious, and the gelato is also very good.
On the other hand, other desserts didn't convince us: there were five of us, and we ordered slices of caprese, tiramisu, and crostata, which unfortunately weren't up to par. My advice, therefore, is to enjoy the best specialties, like the graffe, even without necessarily sitting down.

I went for breakfast with friends. The value for money was a no-go. The cappuccino was bad, the croissants were raw.
The location was a good value, clean, and on the beautiful Mergellina promenade. The service was good, but the waiter was rude. Strange, everyone in Naples is nice.

The pros: kind and friendly staff, view of the harbor, good graffa and croissants... The cons: heavy noise pollution (cars, motorcycles, scooters) and air pollution, due to the heavy traffic almost 24 hours a day, given the location (at the beginning of the seafront), high prices (almost "Monegasque" for the coffee and juices, but the graffa is also no slouch).

Il bar migliore che ci possa essere sul lungomare di mergellina, offre aperitivi e dolci ottimi ma soprattutto a buon prezzo, il personale è davvero accogliente, ma soprattutto non c’è miglior giornata passata ad un bar con amici difronte ad una vista favolosa del mare di Napoli.
Ciro a Mergellina lo considero uno dei migliori ristoranti che ci siano nella nostra splendida città! La mia opinione potrebbe essere intesa come abituale frequentazione di questa ottima tavola: solo se si considera che la mia famiglia lo frequenta da 70 anni! Il mio ricordo va a Ciro e Mariuccia, Pasqualino e la sua meravigliosa Signora ed i figli Ciro, Antonio,e il più piccolo del quale non riesco a ricordarne il nome! Ma la cucina è sempre ottima, servizio attento e cortese, la loro spigola fritta è un monumento alla gastronomia partenopea! Come non consigliarlo: impossibile! Eccellente , e soprattutto ottimo! Lo consiglio a tutti! Non si può venire a Napoli e non fermarsi da Ciro a Mergellina!
