A very warm, cheerful, chaotic environment full of smiles and truthfulness, where the managers, 100% from Campania, want to recreate that atmosphere that can be felt in typical Neapolitan trattorias. From this point of view the project is fully implemented. The cuisine is also very simple and popular, even in prices, and offers a typically Neapolitan menu based on dishes that have been part of Neapolitan culture and cuisine for generations. The idea of ​​being guided through a tasting of various appetizers is excellent, including an excellent buffalo mozzarella, a cake filled with mozzarella and friarelli, meatballs with sauce, aubergine parmigiana and Neapolitan salami. Afterwards I had a good first course: baked ziti with salami, vegetables and cheese. A poor dish, in the noblest sense of the term, but extremely rich in flavours. A dish of memory, authentic Neapolitan comfort food! The first courses of the others were also really excellent, starting from the cacio e pepe twins, to the legendary sartú which, by the way, is the first time I have seen it on a menu of a restaurant outside Naples!, up to the fantastic Genoese dish . Finally, while the rest of the table enjoyed the desserts, my friend and I treated ourselves to a plate of tripe, which was good above all thanks to the tasty sauce, while I found the tripe a little ahead of cooking, and a plate of pasta and beans really generous. The dinner was accompanied by a 2020 pure Aglianico from the Cerrella winery, which did not leave me particularly satisfied. The areas for improvement are certainly the wine list, where Campania is proportionately poorly represented (why not make a list of only Campania labels?) and the service which is sometimes a little confusing. Excellent value for money.

Un’ambiente molto caldo, allegro, caotico e pieno di sorrisi e veracità, dove i gestori, campani al 100%, vogliono ricreare quell’atmosfera che si respira nelle tipiche trattorie napoletane. Da questo punto di vista il progetto è realizzato in pieno. Anche la cucina è molto semplice e popolare, anche nei prezzi, e declina un menù tipicamente napoletano a base di piatti che sono parte della cultura e della cucina partenopea da generazioni. Ottima l’idea di farci guidare in un assaggio di diversi antipasti, tra cui un’ottima mozzarella di bufala, una torta ripiena di mozzarella e friarelli, polpette al sugo, parmigiana di melanzane e salamino napoletano. A seguire ho preso un valido primo piatto: degli ziti al forno con salame, verdure e formaggio. Un piatto povero, nel senso più nobile del termine, ma estremamente ricco di sapori. Un piatto del ricordo, autentico confort food napoletano! Anche i primi piatti degli altri erano davvero ottimi, a cominciare dai gemelli cacio e pepe, al mitico sartú che, tra parentesi, è la prima volta che lo vedo in un menù di un ristorante fuori da Napoli!, fino al fantastico piatto di genovese. Per finire, mentre il resto del tavolo si godeva i dolci, io e il mio amico ci siamo rispettivamente concessi un piatto di trippa, buono soprattutto grazie al gustoso sugo, mentre la trippa l’ho trovata un poco avanti di cottura, e un piatto di pasta e fagioli davvero generoso. La cena è stata accompagnata da un Aglianico in purezza della cantina Cerrella del 2020, che non mi ha lasciato particolarmente soddisfatto. Le aree di miglioramento sono sicuramente la carta dei vini, dove in proporzione la Campania è rappresentata poco e male (perché non fare una carta solo di etichette campane?) e il servizio che a volte risulta un pochino in confusione. Eccezionale il rapporto qualità prezzo.

27/03/2025: tries hard. falls short. wants to be a swinging hot-spot but bang average. seated badly despite reserving well in advance. the food is woeful. eggplant tasted like it was from the gutter. nachos your grandmother could make. the drinks are acceptable. in a city of fine food and service, this is just a dumb down of an experience.
27/03/2025: I celebrated my graduation in this place and I was very satisfied. The environment is very elegant and refined and the kindness of the staff is unique. I was supported in choosing the menu for the refreshment and every request of mine was accepted, not everyone does that! The food was excellent, in short it was a more than positive experience, I recommend this place!
