Non sono rimasta particolarmente impressionata: certo le aspettative sono alte quando in cucina c'è un chef molto noto. Il palazzo è bellissimo ed elegante, in posizione molto centrale. Cibo di tradizione bolognese, come è giusto con ospiti anche stranieri, ma per il mio giudizio molto lontano dalla perfezione (nelle case bolognesi in generale si mangia meglio di così). Servizio attento, ma non indimenticabile. Aperitivo servito in piedi con servizio un po' frettoloso. Il palazzo è bellissimo, meriterebbe più attenzione alla qualità dei cibi e all'attenzione per gli ospiti.

05/10/2025: It remains one of the best pastry shops in Bologna. Not so much for the brioches and leavened pastries, which are much better. But for the so-called "pastries." Unbeatable.
30/09/2025: The low rating for service doesn't refer to the staff, who do their jobs well and professionally, but to the fact that the croissant displays are often empty before 10 a.m., which seems incredible to me for a pastry shop of this caliber. As for the food, the pastry shop is top-notch. However, I should point out that the cappuccino, which used to be expertly made and delicious, is now undrinkable and unsatisfying. This is due to the installation of a new machine that dispenses ready-made milk foam, which is full of air and doesn't blend well with the coffee.

The characteristics of this place are clear from the beginning, multiple references to Japan: - wooden counters and chairs - ordering via notepad with possible additions based on your preferences - style similar to teppanyaki restaurants (intended as sitting in front of the chef and not as cooking on a hotplate) for a large part of the seats - TV in the bathroom with footage shot in Japan In short, if you are a lover of the Land of the Rising Sun, this is a trip for you, the ramen is delicious in all their variations, superb consistency and flavors, so after having raised expectations so much, let's move on to the negative aspects: - As a small place with few seats, it is not possible to book but you have to go there in person and if you find the place full the wait will be about 30 min / 1 hour (personally it was worth the wait) - Few hangers compared to the amount of customers, you end up piling your clothes on top of each other Conclusion: I had a great time there, I tried the ravioli and the ramen and I was surprised by both, I can only invite you to try it and ensure full satisfaction in the aspects mentioned above, if the review was useful to you I invite you to leave a positive feedback.
