Carlo and his wife (the chef), two wonderful people, shared some anecdotes about Avenza with us. The food, typical local dishes, was superb. We highly recommend this experience.

Ristorante accogliente con personale di estrema cortesia e competenza che ti mette immediatamente a tuo agio. Sempre attenti ma con estrema educazione e discrezione. Per cui direi sicuramente che il servizio è stato impeccabile. Cucina eccellente con piatti presentati con grande stile e sobrietà. Ovviamente tutto ottimo e nulla da eccepire. Piatti del territorio preparati in modo sublime. Menu’ che presenta il giusto numero di portate come si conviene in un locale che punta sulla qualità. Conto assolutamente onesto e adeguato alla qualità delle proposte. Consiglio assolutamente perché chi sa lavorare merita di essere apprezzato. Complimenti!!

Exquisite food, friendly and helpful staff, nice and well-kept environment. Definitely worth repeating!

We had dinner with friends and ordered tordelli, pici cacio e pepe, and pappardelle with wild boar. Everything was excellent...but for the second course, Adriana outdid herself with the roast suckling pig!!! It was spectacular, it melted in your mouth...a marvelous thing!!! Compliments to the cook, who, in addition to being truly talented, is also a wonderful host!!!
