Very friendly staff and excellent food, but simply not my taste. They make all their pasta with spelt, which is a must-have. A bit too organic for us.

Wonderful hosts and great meals. As they run a bakery and a farm as well I'm unsure when these people sleep! The service was attentive if a little slow, but we were a big group of 8. Turn up at opening time and prepare to be eating until 10pm! You won't be disappointed. The local wine was also very good, served by the litre in jugs.

Today we spent a lovely day in Putignano, first visiting the Trullo caves, a fantastic place I'd never heard of. And for lunch we stopped at the Cicirinella restaurant, having chosen this place based on the good reviews. We enjoyed the delicious food, authentic home-cooked peasant cooking with the true flavors of the past. The products are truly excellent, the cured meats and cheeses were delicious, the handmade pasta with wild boar sausage and mushrooms was delicious, and the mutton with ragù was excellent. The staff, a whole family, are very kind and welcoming, explaining their products and dishes to you. The restaurant is small, clean, and characteristic with its barrel vaults. We'll definitely be back because we have to try other dishes like the donkey chops, etc.
I recommend everyone visiting Putignano to stop here to enjoy the good peasant cuisine.
Well done to those who do their work at the restaurant with passion and kindness, keep up the good work!

Just go there. Food is as fresh as it gets - local farmers own and run this place. And you can really feel that they love the food they make. It is also not too expensive. Go there, you won't regret.

A local restaurant, ideal for revisiting traditional Apulian cuisine, combining traditional flavors (some of which I'd say revisited with a modern twist), seasonal and natural ingredients, and, above all, quality ingredients.
The restaurant is very welcoming and located in the historic center.
The lunch was very much appreciated (reminiscent of family Sundays a few years ago). Thanks guys!
