What a lovely discovery! My husband, my 10-year-old son, and I were looking for a nice place for a good lunch after a long walk in Palermo. This restaurant delighted us: a very friendly welcome, excellent dishes (octopus salad, pasta, risotto, and pistachio parfait), and a pleasant setting. A huge thank you for this moment, especially to the young waiter who gave us excellent advice and with whom we spoke Italian, English, and French. Go there with your eyes closed!

Located on a beautiful street in the historic center, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with pleasant background music. The staff proved to be very competent. The dishes were served with perfect timing, and each item on the menu was accurately described. We received competent and detailed answers to every question. I still love this restaurant, but it would be nice if they served olive oil, fresh pepper and a salt mill with the meal. Otherwise I can't understand the coperto of 3 euros. *** Ciccio... I met Ciccio in pentala a few months ago by chance, on a walk, as it is a little off the beaten track in a small alley, and it was a very happy moment. Since then, I've been a regular guest there and enjoy the excellent food and wine. I prefer lamb and veal, and as the portions there are quite large, that's always enough for me, even without a starter. The wines by the glass are also very good. There is also a half bottle of white wine on offer (most of the time at least), which is great because it is also served in a wine cooler. With the temperatures here, this can only be an advantage. There are daily specials off the menu. The water is conveniently served in a glass bottle (unfortunately a rarity in Palermo). If you're not a fan of Sicilian fast food cuisine, this is the place for you. This beautiful restaurant is very popular with the locals, tourists are less likely to be found here (which is probably due to the hidden location). A charming little wooden terrace invites you to sit outside. But I also like the interior very much. And the music played here is also pleasant. I always enjoy coming here.

Cucina ricercata e molto ambiziosa. Qualità della materia prima ottima ma non do cinque stelle perché altrove ho trovato la stessa qualità con qualcosa in più nei piatti ed ho pagato tanto quanto se non leggermente meno. Vale la visita comunque. Personale cordiale
