Historic restaurant specializing in boiled and roasted meats with pearà! The portion of the second course was extremely generous, so much so that having also ordered the first course we had to take the excess portion home so as not to leave half the plate there. Young staff who often get "lost" amidst laughter and shouting, made the service a little lacking in professionalism The location is too dated, ok the place is historic but historic does not mean old, be careful. Average price €50 per person.

Trovandomi nei paraggi di Verona per lavoro ho cercato un locale tipico per cena ed eccomi per caso catapultato qua. Locale storico,ma senza essere polveroso. Tradizione e cortesia la fanno da padrona, sia dei giovani camerieri sia del titolare,molto accogliente e disponibile nel raccontarmi come fanno il bollito (dato che io sono lombardo e sono abituato ad averlo servito con la mostarda). La carne è tenerissima e sia salsa verde sia il rafano sono eccezionali. Quest' ultimo ti "apre il naso" ma con grande qualità! Ho scoperto la pearà, tipica di Verona, una crema a base di pane (rosetta, come spiegatomi dal titolare), brodo, midollo e pepe. Un piacevole accompagnamento. Il tutto in un ambiente accogliente, dove si respira tradizione,ma con una elegante musica di sottofondo che gli conferisce quel tocco di raffinatezza. Entrerà nella mia lista dei ristoranti per quando viaggio per lavoro! Grazie

Mr. Ciccarelli is an excellent host, he knows what hospitality is and how to treat a guest. The food is truly excellent, I tasted the appetizers, the pasta, the roasts and the dessert. The restaurant offers good parking, an entrance suitable for those in wheelchairs and the cleanliness is impeccable. The guys in the dining room are also good. Wonderful experience, I hope to have the opportunity to return.

Personale di sala cortese e capace. Mangiato il carrello. Cotechino stupendo, faraona molto buona, purtroppo cappello del prete pessimo duro e fibroso, il suppongo cotto troppo poco, anche il sapore almeno al mio palato era sgradevole. L’ho avanzato, cosa mai successa. Mi ha rovinato il pranzo. Davvero pochi vini sulla carta. Mi aspettavo più scelta non immensa ma neanche quella che ho trovato. Prezzo estremamente alto: carrello, verdure dolce caffè e amaro più una bottiglia da meno di 30 euro in due: più di 70 euro a testa. Penso di non tornare.
