Today, Saturday, July 12, 2025, I had dinner at this restaurant and I can say that the quality of the food is excellent, and the owner and her waiters are extremely welcoming and helpful. It's worth a visit. If I ever return to Syracuse, I'll definitely return.

Simply exceptional, mixed grill of fish with swordfish, prawns, and squid, very fresh. The staff were friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back. It was just what we needed!

Cena nei pressi del mercato di Ortigia al ristorante “Ci Voleva”. Ho preso come antipasto Fritto Misto che era squisito e per primo pasta pesce spada melanzane e mentuccia super consigliata. Torneremo sicuramente.

27/08/2025: Service needs to be reevaluated. The appetizers were very good and fresh. The first courses were good, but I focused on the clam dish. It was a mess, tasteless, and watery dish, with even pieces of shells. I mentioned my lack of enjoyment in eating them to the waitress, who couldn't answer. I think it's a good thing for a restaurant owner to care about the customer's enjoyment (two plates of spaghetti with clams remained whole on the plate). Very disappointed. Overall, a good experience.
