Churrasco Chacarero In Reggio nell'emilia

I haven't been there in years, but it's still my favorite meat restaurant in Reggio Emilia. The meat was excellent, both the mixed grill and the Angus. There were four of us, and we had the regular mixed grill and the Angus grill. The menu includes an appetizer, meat, and a side dish. Impeccable service, very attentive to our various requests, attentive to the service in general, and above all, friendly. I'll definitely be back. I can't comment on the price; obviously, we paid €40 each, but we ate—the portions aren't paltry—and drank.

I went this Saturday with my husband. The food was delicious, and the music and atmosphere were very pleasant. The prices are a little high, but fair for the quality of the meat. The waiters, especially the Colombian one, were very friendly and attentive. I recommend it and will definitely be back.

Having known Chacarero for many years, I have to say that some things have changed, unfortunately. The quality of the ribs, which until a few years ago were tasty and tender, has recently become, to my regret, dry and very shriveled. It's a shame because they were my favorite dish, but it's not the only one you can order. The tortillas, for example, are still the same as always, delicious with their special sauces. The staff is kind and helpful. Honestly, there's room for improvement, as the quality of some items has dropped and the prices are a bit high. But all in all, it's a place I really like. Both for the atmosphere and the food. I hope to soon rediscover the ribs that made me fall in love with this place, which is worth at least a visit.

As always the meat is spectacular

The prices were exorbitant: €35 for the mixed meat platter (minimum 2 people), but it was good. A Coke and a non-alcoholic cocktail totaled €50 😐

A lovely, informal, and very distinctive place, with a South American ambiance and menu, and prices in line with the excellent quality of the food. The staff is professional and attentive. The place is often crowded, but the culinary and ethnic experience is top-notch. Recommended!

We happened upon this place one weeknight. Not upstairs, but at the steakhouse downstairs, where they probably have lunch or something. The service was impeccable, though. The waitress was very nice and friendly, and she did her job very well. The meat was good, but not exceptionally good. The thing that really blew our minds... was the price. Two grilled meats (the menu said €16 per grilled meat), a portion of potatoes, water, 1 liter of wine, and two coffees... €80! Seems a bit high to me.

A real discovery, now our go-to place for meat! The restaurant is visually stunning, with truly evocative and well-designed themed interiors. The all-you-can-eat menu is incredible; we were already satisfied from the buffet at the counter: a wide selection, everything inviting and beautifully presented, with various meat options (something you're not used to with this type of offering at other restaurants; normally, if you're lucky, you'll eat 100 grams of meat and rice for the rest of the evening). But the real surprise came with the grill: excellent quality meat, perfectly cooked and plentiful. I regret eating the rice, not knowing there was so much meat. The staff were extremely kind, always helpful and friendly. A special mention goes to the owner's son: friendly and approachable, his company made the evening even more enjoyable, and to the lady who also handled the cash register, extremely friendly (like all the staff). From now on, this will be our go-to restaurant for excellent meat. We'll definitely be back!
