Chiosco Gianni e Matilde In Angera

For October, we grabbed a table in the sun, and it felt like we were on vacation, outside of Lombardy but in a tiny place by the sea. The idiosyncrasy also manifests itself in the atmosphere: upon entering, it feels like being in a beer garden, and it's truly hilarious to see how longtime aficionados are there. Very distinctive. It doesn't go unnoticed.

We didn't eat anything, so we can't rate the food. A meeting place for locals, cozy with a touch of nostalgia, plenty of drinks, simple and authentic.

I discovered it by chance on the way back and stopped briefly. Nice little bar with no frills. Prices are more than fair: espresso for one euro, Aperol Spritz for five. Highly recommended!

The perfect place for coffee, with a beautiful view! The drinks are delicious and well-priced! The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming! There's a homey atmosphere here. I'll definitely be back!

Nice kiosk to drink a spritz at a fair price, friendly manager. Now a regular stop. Simple without too many pretensions, I always go there willingly.
