I've known it for years, and I stop by on my way to the Romagna coast. Friendly staff, excellent food, and the location is truly beautiful. Plenty of seating.

Perfect place for a picnic with well-organized and very good piadina shop, unfortunately the prices have increased slightly here too, as everywhere else.

The garden tables are comfortable, with a nice breeze. The crescents are good overall, but they don't leave a lasting impression. The fried food is very salty, washed down with two nice discount German beers (€5 each). A great place for a lunch break, but best enjoyed at off-peak hours, as otherwise you'll have to wait a long time.

Kiosk, bar, and restaurant near the church of San Vincenzo al Furlo.
Excellent crescia, and much more.
Plenty of outdoor space with a children's play area.
Plenty of parking spaces.

When I return from trips up north, I always choose to stop at Cesare. It's a certainty that fills my heart with peace. The place itself envelops you with its lush nature, the gentle sound of the nearby river, and a wide expanse of greenery with wooden tables and benches, perfect for rediscovering serenity. Here you can enjoy their extraordinary piadina, filled exactly as you wish: if you're vegetarian, you'll always find a specialty just for you. Pair it with a good beer or a cool lemonade, as I did with my whole-wheat piadina filled with stracchino cheese, arugula, and bresaola—a simple yet impeccable combination. Cesare always welcomes you with kindness and enthusiasm, and the kiosk is also open outside of meal times, with convenient parking always available. It's often crowded on weekends because many stop here "al fresco" during trips to the beach or excursions. And if you have the opportunity, don't miss a visit to the Abbey of San Vincenzo next to the kiosk: a splendid 10th-century Benedictine church that nourishes the spirit. To complete this regenerating experience, continue towards the Furlo Gorges for a walk immersed in breathtaking scenery, where mind and body find renewed energy.

One Sunday afternoon, I stumbled upon Abbazia di San Vincenzo al Furlo, a beautiful old church belonging to a small abbey with excellent frescoes—a real gem worth visiting. Upon arrival, it was very busy, even with a parking attendant and tape marking the parking spaces. Opposite the church, there was a cozy cafe where Italians like to come with their families and friends on Sundays, and probably on other days as well. Many motorcyclists also found this place. We had lunch with the Italians on the wooden benches in the shade of the large, old trees. The bread was freshly warmed—we'd call it an Italian toasted sandwich—with ham, mozzarella, and tomato. Numerous other varieties were also available, including fries and the like. A jug of white wine and a bottle of water made this stop a pleasant lunch in the abbey garden.
