A gem in a treasure chest. Charming, casual, with attention to detail, great taste, even the lighting. Excellent food, a great selection of experimental but not eccentric dishes and snacks. Two adults and two children (8 and 6), we all enjoyed an aperitif with a couple of very interesting and brilliant dishes. It's not a given that it can also satisfy a family with all their needs. Truly enjoyable. I repeat: a very pleasant location, the strong point among many other strong points.

We found Chiodo by chance, strolling through the alleys of Ortigia. We were captivated and booked for dinner. What can we say? Excellent food, all fresh, nothing preserved or out of season. We loved it so much we returned for lunch the next day. The menus are different for lunch and dinner. Everything was delicious. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and friendly. A unique location with attention to detail! Highly recommended!!

Fabulous experience! Delicious food, great value for money, and the waiters are attentive and lovely. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a little haven of peace in an interior courtyard for lunch or dinner in Ortigia!

The best restaurant of our 2 weeks in Sicilia!

I wanted to give it 10 stars, but unfortunately I can only give it 5! A truly gorgeous place, beautifully decorated and incredibly cute! I went with my sweetheart (booking the night before) for dinner and we immediately fell in love with this place. The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly, kind, and ready to go the extra mile to accommodate guests' requests. The atmosphere is extremely engaging, with excellent background music; you can easily chat and have a conversation even when the place is packed. Excellent food; the first course, "spaghettoni with cream of yellow datterini tomatoes and burrata," is highly recommended. I mopped up the cream and cleaned my plate! As for the second course, the cutlet is a must: incredibly good and tasty, very large (we shared it). For dessert, we had peaches in wine, incredibly sweet and one was calling for the other. We will definitely be back to try all the other dishes offered by this gem in the heart of Ortigia! We truly enjoyed it, highly recommended!

Quality restaurant, very fresh fish. Delicious ceviche. Excellent stuffed squid. I must say, everything was really good and high quality. A very cute, unique place where you can also buy their handmade bags and clothes. Impeccable service.

Abbiamo trascorso una giornata a Siracusa con amici, il locale particolare e ben curato, servizio cortese e attento, cibo ottimo e di altissima qualità. Il prezzo corrispondente a ciò che abbiamo mangiato. Tutto perfetto…… ci torneremo ❤️
