Our absolute favorite place in Syracuse! We go there whenever we’re in town and we are always super happy with the food, staff and atmosphere. The place itself is very warm and welcoming, located in a cute courtyard. But the star of the show is absolutely the food! We had breaded sardines, mackerel, fish tartare and spaghetti with white asparagus and loved every single bite of every dish! I honestly don’t know how every meal can be so special and so beautifully executed. Well done to everyone involved and cannot wait to go back!

Fabulous restaurant in the centre of Ortigia. Dinner was so good we went back for breakfast. The staff were great.

An excellent place. Breathtaking atmosphere and aesthetics, the menu choice is wide and peculiar. The portions are generous and the taste is delicious. The environment is beautifully decorated and located in an almost fairy-tale-like courtyard. The staff is extraordinary and prepared, we were served in a few minutes and impeccably. I sincerely recommend it and I would also add that it has vegan and vegetarian options for those who want them!

As my wife and I were navigating to a highly touted bakery in Syracuse, I peered into a lovely courtyard that stopped me in my tracks. We saw a little cafe that was so inviting we had to change our plans. So glad we did. Chiodo looks like the setting of a "meet cute" in an outstanding rom com. And the food and service match the atmosphere. We wound up spending 2.5 hours there! And by the way, an artisan jewelery maker has a beautiful shop in the same courtyard.
