Arrived in Pisa later in the day for our last evening of holiday with virtually no expectations whatsoever of restaurant choice. Found this place and its good reviews. It turned out to be the best dinner of the whole holiday, the food was delicious, the prices were more than reasonable, cozy service but above all an exceptionally friendly and guiding waiter. He made our last night memorable! - A must in Pisa!

Everything excellent from the wine to the dessert. Varied but not infinite menu, I'm just sorry not to be able to taste everything. Courteous and attentive service. Highly recommended

Found by chance near the Lungarno, small place with a few tables inside but beautiful, very well looked after, tables also outside, special products cooked very well, excellent wine list, starting from the platters as appetizers, varied choice of cured meats and cheeses, all very tasty , local products, a truly wonderful surprise, the prices are quite high but given the quality of the products it is okay.

Place in the center but in a very welcoming and pleasant quiet place with the possibility of eating outside, punctual and kind service, truly top food! Highly recommended!!!

A real gem! A fantastic selection of local meats and cheeses. We at the Chilometro sharing board, which was utterly fantastic. The host took us through the menu in English and helped us make our selections with no issues, even making up a plate of plain pasta for one of my fussier children. The desserts were also wonderful.

Amazing experience. The food was excellent, it’s a great opportunity to taste non usual toscany food. The service was on point and the price extremely reasonable. I vividly recommend this place.

Scelto per portare amici milanesi in visita in città. Adatto per un pranzo informale, con la possibilità di mangiare da un meraviglioso tagliere di prodotti locali ad un primo particolare o secodi toscani. Abbiamo scelto dei primi diversi tutti molto buoni , ben conditi con pasta fatta in casa, fresca, siamo rimasti entusiasti dell'accozzamento dei sapori. Mangiato gelati e un tiramisu molto buono. Ampia scelta di vini delle terre toscane. Prezzo adeguato. Piacevole il servizio dall'accoglienza alla partenza, persona molto garbata e attento alle nostre esigenze. Torneremo sicuramente

Non dò quasi mai 5 stelle, ma se avessi potuto a questo locale ne avrei date 6! Prodotti di prima qualità, che uniti alla maestria dello chef danno vita a dei sapori unici. Il locale è molto accogliente, raccolto, consiglio di prenotare. Il servizio impeccabile, attento e disponibile. Altro consiglio: arrivate affamati.

04/09/2024: Tip top! Very tasty, friendly service and great ambience of a real trattoria! There are a lot of guests and we would have to queue in front of the trattoria, but it was totally worth it!

Locanda Le Giunche

07/08/2024: Kindness and courtesy of the owners. Typically Tuscan place. We had a very good time including their restaurant. In the evening you dine under the Tuscan sky in the most authentic countryside.
06/08/2024: We spent a few wonderful days in complete peace and quiet, in a beautiful old building with romantically furnished rooms. Unfortunately there are far too few... but we will make up for it next year. It's already booked. The two bosses Alessio and Ricardo are super nice, the food in the restaurant and the entire staff are first class, super trained, very accommodating, funny and extremely helpful. Highly Recommended. There are apparently attractive bike tours for sports enthusiasts; there are certainly a lot of people cycling up and down hills in the heat. The location is perfect, nestled in rolling hills, some of which are forested or agricultural. Since we love this corner of Tuscany anyway, this will be our new port of call.
