Impeccable service and availability, typical local dishes! The staff, much more than helpful!!

On 05/16/2025 my wife, I and another couple had lunch at this restaurant and it was a pleasant discovery. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming, especially Mrs. Cinzia who patiently explained the menu to us without being intrusive. The food was excellent and carefully prepared, the atmosphere is convivial and informal, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the meal in peace. Absolutely insane food! Shared pizza,potatoes,spaghetti pomodoro and the best was the pasta with sage and butter

What a lovely find! We were drawn in by the Sage & Butter Ravioli (which we've been dreaming about since visiting Firenze) but we also tried the pizza, spaghetti and wine. All were above expectations. Special thanks to our waitress, Ewa, who was absolutely lovely. X

I visited the place last weekend together with my partner. We were welcomed outside the restaurant by the owner of the business who in a few seconds and through an exchange of humorous jokes, in which his sympathy and friendliness fully shone through, convinced us to stop. The setting and interiors are simple but consistent with the philosophy of the restaurant; the restaurant offers the possibility of consuming one's meals both inside and in an external courtyard. The food, which arrived in what I would define as standard times (especially considering the large tourist turnout at the end of the week), more than satisfied our expectations based on the not always high quality that is offered in places packed with tourists. The dishes proved to be of reasonable quality and the portions more than worthy. The waiters, despite the aforementioned challenging context to manage, always proved to be courteous and helpful, even in the - often demanding - requests of my partner. The experience was truly valid and in the future I plan to return to the other restaurant managed by the same owner, which I felt had a decidedly suggestive view and a proposal in line with the one already experienced. I was shocked by reading the comments and the great disparity in the ratings and I felt compelled to comment and have my say. Typically a "healthy" business doesn't tend to have polarized ratings. When this is the case, and many 1-star ratings flock alongside a large presence of 5 stars, there is always a smell of burning - either negative or positive. Having tried the restaurant's cuisine and service, the only thing that comes to mind is that the competition is ruthless and that the boundaries of "sportsmanship" are largely exceeded on the island... and in this regard I'll stop here, a few words to the wise. The last point I want to address is that of those who complain about prices that are too high or not in line with the offer. Let's say that it is a specious and anachronistic argument. Everyone, me first and foremost, would like to pay a little less on practically every possible occasion, but a criticism of this type only makes sense if compared to the context in which we find ourselves. We come from Salento and the prices found at Chez Manuel, as well as in other places in the area, are perfectly proportionate to the environment and tourist influx. Down in Puglia there are far less valid companies that offer decidedly higher and completely unjustified prices on various occasions. The same argument is valid for many other coastal and seaside locations in Italy and beyond. The world changes and evolves, the presence of agents such as inflation is a fact and profit often remains one of the few constants sought after by merchants all over the world. In light of this, I am shocked to read reviews of those who complain about prices that are more than consistent with the related food offering. The Food was very good. It comes all very fast and it is Not expensive. I love this restaurant😍

Location situata sull'Isola dei Pescatori un po' all'interno e disposta su due piani. Forse necessario renderla internamente un po' più caratteristica. Piatti provati buoni dal primo al dolce. Servizio rapido e cordiale gestito da due ragazzi giovani. Conto decisamente interessante per quanto mangiato. Da provare.

Locale caratteristico in centro nelle viuzze dell'isola dei pescatori. Abbiamo pranzato al piano superiore con vista lago. Servizio veloce,cameriere cortesi e simpatiche . Servizi igienici spaziosi e puliti. Cibo ottimo, consiglio i tagliolini del pescatore e la torta noci e mandorle (fatta in casa)
