It was meant to be Alitalia's hub to northern Europe and the Americas when planned and it should have absorbed the traffic of Linate's city airport, also None of this came true and Malpensa remains a nice built airport but underutilized.

Unfortunately you cannot park for more than 15 minutes without paying while waiting for a relative, parking costs €3 an hour, but if you just need to pick up a passenger you have no choice, otherwise wait outside the airport

Well organised, with ample parking for companions.. It's the first time I go to Malpensa. Today, mid-August, I went to pick up my aunt Irene. It is always well organised, I thought I would find a lot of people but instead we easily found a car park which Telepass makes it easier for us to enter I'm sorry for a bar that didn't have lactose-free croissants, 🤔🥴 what a disappointment so I only had the soy cappuccino.. but it's possible that in 2024 🙄🤔 they only had gluten-free products...

I suggest adding space as praying room.. Many airports around the world has such space,, even if they are not Muslim countries.. Just as a service for thousands of Muslims passing by their airports. In Africa I've seen spaces for all religions prayer rooms.

Weird airport. Arrived early, took care of tax refund via kiosk, finally found check-in area (very weird system) but stopped when trying to access check-in area. Why? We weren't allowed to check-in until 3 hours before the flight. Why? No idea. Another question is why have Duty Free and more eateries before passport control?
