I recently had dinner at Checco Er Carettiere and was satisfied. I started with a fresh and tasty seafood starter, followed by a delicious pasta. The bread served is exceptional and the desserts sensational. The dishes were served with the right timing, allowing you to appreciate each course without rushing. The environment is welcoming and the staff was very kind, helping to create a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who want to taste typical Roman dishes in a family and quality context.

This place was suggested to me a few years ago and it has become a fixed stop when I go to Rome. The food is always amazing and the service is high quality. The waiters are always friendly and fast. This time I had the Gricia and the saltimbocca, and both dishes were delicious.

Nice authentic restaurant in Trastevere for dinner. The setting was great and the food was good too. I would recommend skipping their cocktail menu and ordering a glass of wine instead as the flavours were underwhelming.

We live in Rome for over a month - we have some of the saltiest dishes here: carbonara and oxtail stew is crazily SALTY. The taste is good but you can obviously tell that something went wrong. It is often fully booked and is a restaurant with long history, yes, but you have a lot more better choices around the area given the price that you are paying for. All the bad reviews come with reasons. The bread (*2) is 12 euros.

Old historic place in Trastevere. Even the cuisine has remained the same as it was many years ago. All very greasy and salty, cold starters from the fridge. The bread is good.

Tuvimos un mal comienzo después de reservar con semanas de antelación llegamos a sentarnos en una esquina concurrida del restaurante justo entre la estación de servidores y la zona de cajas - cuando preguntamos si había algo más disponible se le dijo que no muy bruscamente. Estábamos a punto de irnos cuando otro miembro del personal nos sentó afuera. Me alegro de que no dejamos el menú a un precio razonable era muy sabroso y excelente relación calidad-precio. Aparte de la interacción inicial el personal era amable y atento. Recomendaría encarecidamente
