I've been going there for years now. The quality of the meat is exceptional, the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, and the location is excellent. It's a sure thing.

I had dinner at this place and tried the "che macello" sandwich. The meat was high-quality, very good, and cooked perfectly rare. The only downside was that the menu listed onion rings in the sandwich, but I kindly assumed they were the classic battered ones... unfortunately, they were the ones pictured. Service was quick and prices were average.

The atmosphere is personally cared for and the owner is welcoming. The food is very good, with an excellent selection of sandwiches, appetizers, and stuffed chips. Kids' box meal, a favorite with children.

They make good sandwiches, the location is also nice, all with dark colors, the service is good, they offer how the meat should be cooked, very clean bathrooms, only the environment is a bit dark and not a lot of choice of sandwiches, the menu could be a bit more varied.

Let me start by saying, I'm from Frattamaggiore and I haven't eaten at Che Macello in years (because it's always so crowded, now I understand why). I finally went back on a weekday, and it's truly worth it. The appetizers were very good, the atmosphere was meticulously maintained, and the service was top-notch, but the meat in the sandwich was spectacular; I haven't had a burger like that in a long time. Prices are a bit high, but you pay for quality. If you want a great sandwich in Frattamaggiore, come to Che Macello.

18/01/2026: Not the "Wow" effect I was expecting, but still a very good concept and the burger tasted good. The chips with swordfish sauce had way too much pepper so that the resulting flavor was disappointing.
10/01/2026: Panamar in Vomero proves to be an interesting sandwich shop, especially for those who love seafood reinterpreted in a street food style. A particularly delicious dish is the fried calamari: crispy, dry, and flavorful, served with a delicious Sorrento lemon mayonnaise that adds a fresh, fragrant note that further enhances the dish. The sandwiches are also excellent, particularly the Fuoritonno and Posillipolp, original and well-balanced options, with quality ingredients and successful combinations that showcase the fish without weighing it down. As for the service, the experience was overall positive: courtesy and helpfulness characterized the welcome and the first part of the meal. However, a less pleasant note came towards the end, when, as closing time approached, we were asked to leave, which somewhat dampened the end of a much-appreciated meal. Despite this small negative, Panamar remains a recommended stop for those in Vomero looking for tasty, quality fried seafood sandwiches.

14/12/2025: Last night with friends we spent an evening at Nicoletti, the kindness of Franco and Maria, and the deliciousness of the dishes made it a fun and carefree evening, thank you very much, see you next time
09/08/2025: What can I say? 3 is the perfect number, a mix of a trattoria, butcher, and high-end delicatessen. Mr. Franco is an excellent host, a true connoisseur who seeks out and finds authentic products to serve, but the highlight is the cuisine. 3, again, are excellent cooks, serving traditional family dishes. Excellent experience, I recommend it. The quality of the products is right at the right price.
