The quality of the puff pastry is amazing, I highly recommend the Pain Suisse and the croissants, the savoury ones are very good but nothing special

The pastries are amazing, super light and tasty. But matcha latte was not good, you can feel that it's far from the local culture yet

The recurring observation was: "IT'S INCONVENIENT THAT THERE'S NOT EVEN A PASTRY SHOP ON THE STREET!" And finally, here it is, just a stone's throw away! I had pains au chocolat made that looked like they came straight from a Parisian bakery, some butter croissants filled with custard, an almond pastry, and a raspberry cupcake freshly filled: all excellent! I should point out that they were thoroughly appreciated, even by two people who are usually very critical, especially about "culinary innovations" and butter. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Fantastic breakfast for those who love a sweet Italian breakfast, delicious croissants with a wide selection, friendly staff, carefully decorated and very clean.

Charlotte is a must-see for us in Trieste. We go there as often as we can, and it was the place that made us fall in love with pain au chocolat in the city. Even during Covid, we ordered takeout from them, because certain sweets really make your day better. I choose pain au chocolat all the time, or the cruffin with mascarpone cream. Franz, on the other hand, goes for anything with cream or pistachio, and every now and then he stops by the shop to pick up something for his 10:00 a.m. snack: in fact, we even have photos of their desserts with our keys in the background. The tiramisu is delicious, and we even used it for the reel of our 10,000 followers, so Charlotte has now become part of our fond memories of Posto delle Chiavi. The atmosphere is refined, sweet, a little French, and the girls are always super friendly. One of those places we always recommend in Trieste. Actually, no, don't go too long... Very good pastry shop! All the desserts are delicious, especially the peach puff pastry, which is truly fantastic. The service is fast and friendly.

My compliments to the top pastry chef. I recommend those fabulous soft sunflowers with lemon cream, which are truly delicious. The salted caramel muffins are absolutely stunning and incredibly filling (almost too much, by the way). The brioche is beautifully filled and expertly flaky, but it has a slightly salty/bitter aftertaste. Don't expect to find air conditioning here.

Amazing café! The coffee was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The croissants were fresh, buttery, and absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
