Non avevamo prenotato e il locale era strapieno, nonostante tutto sono riusciti a recuperare un tavolo per noi... La gentilezza e la simpatia sono il valore aggiunto per un locale in cui si mangia molto bene, alcuni di noi hann gustato degli ottimi piatti locali, altri la pizza e a seguire il desser con grappa. Tutto delizioso. Consiglio vivamente.

Excellent experience, good food, it has a reminder of typical cuisine but surrounded by a modern style. The highlight of the evening was the lady in the dining room Naomi, truly fantastic, polite and kind, it was a wonderful pleasure to be served by her. Exceptional! The boys of Rome ❤️

we visited at least 5 other restaurants in the center but Charlie's were the only ones who welcomed us without problems and with kindness... and we ate divinely, really good food

We stopped for a pizza and were surprised by the quality of the truly excellent ingredients. Cozy and well-kept place. If you pass through Orvieto it is advisable to stop here.

Wonderful meal at Charlie with a stupendous bottle of Orvieto Classico Reserva recommended by the owner. A delicious appetizer of tomato aspic, soft pecorino and crisp toast followed by pasta sauced with one of the best pestos I've ever tasted. My wife's pizza capricciosa was likewise excellent. Highly recommended.

08/01/2025: Butcher shop in business since 1952 (and it shows). Rightly famous for its porchetta, but other branded cured meats should absolutely not be overlooked: I tasted a Cinta ham and a rare quality mortadella. Even their cheeses, always locally produced, are at the same level. In addition to the products, the kindness and correctness of the managers should be noted: they package large-sized sandwiches that couldn't be more stuffed, very honest prices highlighted on the blackboard outside the shop. They also have other delicatessen items and a small assortment of wines. Ideal for a tourist's snack (outside there is also a small terrace with some benches and tables), the best way to get to know the famous Umbrian cured meats
07/01/2025: EXQUISITE PORCETTA SANDWICH! The best I tasted on this Orvieto trip! 6 euros well spent! The very kind butcher explained to us how he works the pig to obtain such good porchetta! Highly recommended
