Located at the top of the Consuma pass, this chalet offers bar service and exceptional squash! Typical Casentino products in a very welcoming and characteristic setting.

There is always a bit of a queue but the wait is rewarded by a vast and good choice to enjoy one of the best Schiacciata in Florence. My favorite is the one with crumbled mushrooms and cheese. Every time I ride my motorbike it's a fixed stop. Good choice of drinks and beer. Good value for money.

It's worth going there for the slam dunk. Excellent in all fillings, even if the one with Sbriciolona is super.

Super recommended for a quick stop. Delicious products, excellent quality and unbeatable prices. Stopping here for the onion crush is almost obligatory for me, well done!

Bambi Trippa e Lampredotto

02/01/2025: I took a sandwich with Lampredotto and one with porchetta, very good and quick.
29/12/2024: We came here as this place was recommended by a local guide. The queue was pretty long when we came but it run fast - we managed to get our lampredotto/trippa sandwiches prepared in 10/15 minutes. As the place does not have any seats we found space on the second floor of the market. The lampredotto sandwich was juicy and the “green” and spicy sauces complemented it well. The trippa sandwich was not as good - but I believe the “soup” format would have suited trippa better (I will try next time). Note that the lampredotto/trippa are both parts of the stomach and have a peculiar texture that may not be for everyone!

19/11/2024: Delicious pastries, very delicate apple parcel, excellent coffee even without sugar. Open even if crowded on Sundays and thank goodness because there is no bar near the Baloncesto gym. Nice discovery, we'll be happy to go back.
18/11/2024: Cozy place, friendly staff, reasonable prices, good pastries.
