We hiked from Vassena to Chalet Gabrielle and absolutely loved the experience! The food and atmosphere were fantastic. We enjoyed the local Polenta Tok, hearty onion soup, lentils, and baked blue cheese over polenta. The chocolate pear cake was truly outstanding, and they also serve delicious homemade pasta. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—highly recommend!

There's nothing negative to say. The location is beautiful and very evocative, with a panoramic view of the lake. The staff is always helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food is excellent, with a wide selection from appetizers to dessert.

Good polenta, stunning views of the lake and mountains. Efficient waiters, even when the place is full. The dishes and entrees are average (personally, the pizzoccheri could be tastier). Overall, a nice restaurant; reservations recommended.

It's been a while since I wrote a review, but this place made me want to come back. As I walked up, I thought...it must be really good if people decide to come all the way up here. And indeed! It's worth it. Breathtaking views, delicious food with generous portions, a welcoming atmosphere, more than fair prices, and the staff are professional, helpful, and friendly. A 10!
We wanted to try a few different things, so we ordered smaller portions to avoid bursting, each accompanied by a different type of polenta. The menu is extensive and tasty, and if you don't know something, don't hesitate to ask; everyone is very helpful. It was a pleasure, from the appetizer to the coffee!
