Cupra Marittima, unlike nearby Grottammare, is an ancient family-friendly marine center in the Adriatic Marche. Il Gabbiano is a family-run beach establishment with an adjoining restaurant masterfully directed by Mr. Pietro. the collaborators are very young and very kind, the prices of all services are more than modest. But what is striking is the level of professionalism and seriousness that the team as a whole expresses. we often talk, with nostalgic emphasis, about the foods of the past, the objects of the past, the behaviors of the past... here is Mr. Il Gabbiano establishment. Pietro is a one-time business that creates wealth and at the same time is useful to the community.

Really nothing special. Many times, you can already see from the quality of the bread whether a restaurant is good or not. The bread here is old and tasteless. The small starters, made without attention, lack quality. The pasta (small portions) is decent and really nothing special. The location in front of the beach is nice. You'll find me much better in Cupra though!

Beautiful place, clean and everyone is kind! From breakfast to dinner the service is impeccable. The owner transmits love for his work and has a hospitality that is now rare. All the employees are good and kind. The beach is clean and organised, there is also an area dedicated to dogs. There are open showers, closed showers, toilets and changing rooms. The quality of the food is high and the prices are more than honest! Super recommended.

I was with my family and our puppy, a perfect and well-stocked woof area (refreshing bowl and mats)! The only flaw is that dogs are not allowed to swim. I hope that we will be able to have this service soon too.

I didn't expect it, but I ate very well. They brought us a complimentary crostini with tomato, burrata/stracciatella and anchovies. The boys are young but they are good and helpful, very nice. The owner is very kind and nice. I was with some friends and we ordered: mezze sleeves with seafood, sea snails and spaghetti with clams. I'm quite critical of food and I particularly enjoyed everything, which I didn't expect. It is a place on the seafront and has a beautiful view, there is also a nice breeze. In the evening they have a very interesting fixed menu, and the prices are average. We will definitely be back, everyone is really so nice🩷🩷
