A cute chalet restaurant with a retro style decor that clearly reflects the history of the place. You may like it. Simple menu of typical local winter dishes. There is no shortage of cappuccino. It's a decent cafe with a confectionery department. Very friendly staff, prices in line with the regional average. A refreshment that calls for skiing and living in nature.

Tried restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Elegant cabin style venue. Very friendly and helpful staff. Many flaws in the dishes: polenta without salt, fish soup not hot, good tagliatelle, but seasoned with cold sauce which ruined the dish: essentially cooking with distractions. Lots of confusion in order management. There is a lack of a room manager.

A place to spend some beautiful days! Great food and very friendly and helpful staff. It was a pleasure to discover that this new management is the same one that also takes care of Capanna Niculin, a magnificent hut on the slopes!

We spent our lunch at chalet 1400, excellent service and hospitality. The kitchen with excellent and fresh products! We will definitely be back, I absolutely recommend

Very welcoming local Chalet 1400, the staff helpful and attentive to all your needs! For a nice lunch overlooking the ski slopes! Super recommended!

18/08/2024: I cari signori non più giovanissimi ci hanno accolto il giorno di Ferragosto per pranzo... Sono stati gentili e cordiali con noi e nostri bambini. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo: un antipasto misto (cose semplici ma geniune, cucinate falla signora), a seguire ravioles al gorgonzola ottimi e dolce. Il tutto accompagnato da una buona bottiglia di Barbera d'Alba... Complimenti perché ci avete stupito in modo molto positivo... Torneremo sicuramente.
30/07/2024: We are very fond of the Maira valley and also of the people who live there! Mariateresa, Costanzo and their son are special people... and let's not talk about their cuisine... impeccable!!! Spending an evening in their restaurant, enjoying one of their dishes or a delicious pizza, sharing a chat in a cheerful atmosphere, fills the hearts! They are very simple and give you small gestures that will be impossible to forget, especially when Costanzo with smiling eyes presents you with a small glass that after many years makes you remember that tasty pudding you ate as a child.
