We ate here twice during our vacation. Very friendly service, who even helped with German if needed. Rather unassuming from the outside, but the terrace offers a fantastic view over the lake, incredibly delicious tapas, and is child- and dog-friendly 😊

Very tasty tapas, everything tasted great, and we felt like we were back in my wife's homeland (she's from Galicia). The waiters and owner were all very friendly and welcoming. So, we absolutely recommend it! We'll definitely be going back one of these days 👍

The place has a very nice location, with a wide view of the lake, unfortunately the tables that enjoy the view are few, only 4 or 5 near the railing. The remaining tables are in a sort of courtyard and if it happens to be a hot and windless evening like last night you can't fully enjoy the food because you sweat and suffer. There is no ventilation system of any kind. There are many tables and the space is crowded and this contributes to taking away "air", some are positioned against a wall that releases all the heat accumulated during the day. These tables close to the wall are next to each other, with a few centimeters of separation, giving a feeling of an "imperial table" shared with strangers, no privacy. The other problem is the music, live music, I liked it and it was cheerful, but when I go to dinner with friends I would like silence to be able to talk to them. It was really difficult to communicate with each other, if you suffer from hearing loss it is a mess. Someone asked to reduce the volume but even reduced the music is predominant. It's fine if you go alone, or with someone you have nothing to share. I'm sorry that when we booked it didn't occur to us to ask if there was music because usually in restaurants there isn't, maybe it would have been more professional to tell us. This ruined our evening even more than the stifling heat. I appreciated the service, we were served by a very nice guy who spoke to us in Spanish and Italian, very kind and lively. The waiting times were reasonable and in any case they warned us right away that the paella would take 30 minutes and they advised us to get something to break the wait. I gladly drank the sangria, not strong, I'm not an expert so I can't evaluate the quality, I liked it, I didn't like the quantity, I was hoping for a glass with a more enjoyable effect. After all, you go out to eat to be pampered and amazed, otherwise I'll stay at home. The prices are not low, for 4 people €140, 4 paellas (generous but not excellent) - 2 beers - 2 waters - 1 sangria - 4 tapas dishes. For coffee and dessert we preferred to go elsewhere, lakeside, with a little more air and above all without music. I know it's not easy, that it's impossible to please everyone, yours is a reality that has existed for many many years, so it means that you work, but I felt like bringing my experience. It's not the first time I've come to you, I've been back but this time I didn't have a pleasant dinner. I'm sorry.

I highly recommend preordering the food, as it’s freshly made and the best dishes take at least 40 minutes to prepare. Also note: the best options are only available for a minimum of two people — individual orders are not possible. Unfortunately, the menu is only available in Italian. However, the owner speaks German and English, which really helps. That being said, we tried nearly every restaurant in Padenghe during our stay — none came close to this one in terms of quality and atmosphere.

Lovers of Spanish cuisine, we discovered this beautiful restaurant on the lake by chance. Friendly and nice staff. Real Spanish cuisine and, surprise, a trio of Spanish musicians to delight our lunch on the terrace overlooking the lake. We will return soon, perhaps for dinner. Compliments to all the staff. English: Nice place, with a large terrace right on the lake that, however, in addition to the many customers the night we were there, was unfortunately "frequented" also by many midges... We tried the nachos and two types of paella, the Valencian and the one with squid ink, and they were both delicious, super rich in ingredients and really abundant (so much so that I couldn't finish it). The sangria was also excellent, very balanced in taste and with a particular aroma, never smelled before in others I've tasted, which gives it an extra touch! The waiters who served us were all very kind and super helpful - especially a young, blond guy whose name I had also asked but unfortunately I forgot it 😅 - a little less the lady at the cash register, probably the owner, who unfortunately didn't welcome us with the same kindness, on the contrary... Overall, however, it was a nice experience and I will happily return to try other dishes and maybe some desserts that unfortunately I didn't manage to eat that night because I was really full...
